Excellent food and atmosphere. Two thumbs Food was very tasty and unique. The smoky mezcal old fashioned was outstanding. Pricey but very good. Bartender G and Heidi were excellent host!!!

Still unimpressed. I'd visited once for lunch shortly after they opened but had a bad service experience. With all the continued hype I assumed they'd worked out the kinks and finally ventured back for dinner with a friend.Service improved, although adding an automatic 20% gratuity on a two person table is presumptuous and rude. Food & drinks were decent but quite overpriced. Our bill was $250 for 3 drinks & tacos each plus chips/salsa ($12.50!) and a side of elote. I've certainly had better meals for far less.

I was in there and heard a gentleman have a problem with his food. He literally took one bite and did not like it. They did not offer to make him something else but instead and get this told him he still has to pay for the food even though it was not to his liking, the cops were calledand the situation was unbelievable. What kind of restaurant won't even offer to make them something else when they serve them horrible food I do not recommend this place.

Took my GF on a date, two person bill, added mandatory gratuity after horrible service. We were there for 3 hours for chips and tacos. NEVER AGAIN, great food, fraudulent tipping system and offensive service.
Food poisoning. Our whole group got severe food poisoning after eating here. Do NOT eat here. The food was so mid and overpriced. The staff was super rude. Especially the blondeish waitress with the glasses. Plus it’s never good when you get food poisoning.

Let me start by saying our entire dining party got food poisoning from this place. Our waitress was extremely pushy, rushing us, and borderline rude at times while the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. The food was just fine. Nothing to rave about. I had the filet tacos and they didn’t have much flavor even after adding some sauces. The chicken tasted gamey- which you expect more from a restaurant claiming to be hot stuff. You have to buy a bowl of lime wedges if you want a wedge for your drink. Margaritas are not served with lime which was weird to begin with. We were all disappointed and unhappy with our experience here after leaving and even more so after all becoming violently ill.

Food poisoning! Go back and look at the reviews for this place. This restaurant not only gave my entire party food poisoning but it's been happening to other restaurant goers for months! Before the food poisoning set in, we were all extremely disappointed because the food is meh, service was HORRIBLE, and everything is terribly over priced. Please for the love of god choose another Mexican restaurant that won't leave you violently ill.

We went to m cantina to celebrate a special night and were met by the hostess/server (who I believe is the chefs wife) who proceeded to serve multiple other tables before ours and who literally just “forget” about us. We were not drinking alcohol and I noticed they served the tables that were drinking before ours even though we had a reservation. We were also seated so close to others that we literally couldn’t have any personal conversations due to lack of privacy. We had a reservation and were seated in their overflow garage room. It was cold and the atmosphere was not great. It felt uncomfortable. I’ve been coming for years and every time I come service gets worse. That on top of the small portion sizes and high pricing makes this a restaurant we won’t be returning to.
