Wife had the Chicken Salad sandwich which she liked though she said it was under seasoned and put salt / pepper on it at the table. She loved the tomato soup with cheese. I had the Better Made Chicken Tenders, Fries and a bowl of the Mac n Cheese Overall the food was okay. Not memorable. I really expected the Tenders to have that potato chip taste from the coating but it was very underseasoned and the tenders were on the dry side( maybe a brine bath after thawing). I know they were cooked fresh because I watched them made Perhaps some seasoning after they com out would have helped. The handcut fries were excellent. Again a little underseasoned fot my taste but still very good. The Mac and cheese was freshly made but had no real flavor for the cheese or any seasoning. I had to add salt and pepper at the table to give it something but if you have to add seasoning at the table it's really too late. We also tried the Vernor's pound cake and couldn't taste any Gingerale flavor at all. Michigan chocolate cherry cookie was good needed more cherry flavoring. Also they really should let you know at the cooler that fountain drinks are available. We picked up bottled soda not knowing that. Maybe we hit them too early as they had just opened. The staff was extremely courteous and attentive . Definitely give them five for five. The dining room was very clean and stocked well.

One of the best museums in the world! A must see for anyone interested in history!

While the chicken salad sandwich, fruit, and Vernor cake is wonderful, service and Pepsi products really is average at best. Not that busy and it took 10 minutes to get my meal and I was alone. If it was just a mom or dad with a couple of picky kids who like different things it could have taken 3 times longer. While this setup is 1000% better than their last change, I miss the way they be had it for years.

It was neat because of the history, but the food sure left a lot to be desired.

It's just fun! There are a fair amount of food options, pricey, but it's at a beautiful museum!

it was convenient, we were hungry it was there so... just regular menu although we liked the option of fruits instead of fries with the meal

This cafe is a quick place to eat while at the museum/village. My soup was ok, and so was the macaroni and cheese. The prices were reasonable compared to other museum cafes that we’ve been to.

We ate lunch here. There is a really nice selection with something for everyone-from burgers and hot dogs, to soup and a sandwich. Everything is warm and prepared on site.

The Michigan Cafe offers more choice than Lamy’s in a more modern surroundings. Good food and good value.

Wide variety and good quality of food. Unfortunately slowest Grill Station I have ever experienced. Staff is unable to cope with more than one order at the time...
