The host was good, there was no waiting, the waiter came to us immediately and gave us some suggestions, but we were there for the 22oz Ribeye steak. We ordered the salad, which the waiter said was for sharing, but unfortunately, for $14, we got a small dish that was barely enough for one person and it came with frozen cucumbers . However, we didn't mind until the food arrived. We ordered the steak medium, but unfortunately, it was overcooked (well done)and came with butter, which the waiter suggested, and they charged us $4 extra for each 2oz each steak. Because we were starving from traveling, we didn't want them to make us another one, we didn't have enough time. I personally don’t recommend the place because Lack of chef experience

I ordered a ribeye cooked Medium… I received a steak overcooked and hard to cut.. the waitress, at no fault of her own, returned the steak and apologized. 12 minutes later the server returned with a steak that moo’d across the table too rare for a human to consume.. AgaiN, the WAITRESS apologized advised me that the manger removed the charge yet the manager failed to ADDRESS my table…Lastly, i ordered creme brulee when i received it there was a FORK on it.. when i asked for a spoon the waitress advised me that she could not find a spoon 😒…while i still tipped the waitress this was the worse experience I encountered there

The bbq salmon dish was delicious, the truffle fries were delightful and the mocktail with mint was also very tasty. It was a very cozy, peaceful and comfortable atmosphere. The service was top-notch.

Let me start by saying this was my Go-To spot for special occasions. Every so often we’d have weird experiences with servers or extremely salty food but I’d give it a few month break and come back to support this local business I’ve been a customer at since opening. The last few times, service was just horrible. We were seated upstairs and pretty much forgotten since no one else was up there. I couldn’t finish my food because of how salty it was even after letting my server know I DONT want salty food. I was also there again for a birthday reservation (noted on RESY). Not even a simple acknowledgement of the birthday by the host or server. We had to keep flagging the server down to get anything. The “manager” just walks up and down the restaurant even while watching customers look all around for their servers. Not sure what’s going on here but for the price of our bill, I’d assume better service. Very sad. This really was one of my favorite places to be.

I don’t recommend this place to anyone I heard a lot good stuff about it so I went a tried it , I came in with a group of 5 and we all ordered ribeyes, it was seriously a disappointing tasting steak asked for a medium got a well done . 2 of my friends couldn’t even finish it

Let me tell you, Mint 29 isn't just the best steakhouse in Michigan; it's a culinary experience. The food is consistently fresh and flavorful. Their steaks are always cooked to perfection – tender, rich, and never dry. Don't even get me started on the amazing shrimp cocktails and the top-notch calamari – crispy, fresh, and delicious.
The staff is truly remarkable: respectful, quick to assist, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring your comfort. And the owner? One-of-a-kind, intelligent, and simply amazing. Mint 29 is, unequivocally, good. You won't regret it.

Manager in suite sitting at the bar crunching numbers like it's his office , the other 2 managers and chef arguing in front of customers, server was amazing good is great came to celebrate my daughter's engagement but the atmosphere was very tense . Take your business off the floor .

Thee best burger I’ve ever had in my entire! No lie! Hubby and I went here for a date night and enjoyed everything we had…appetizers, drinks, dessert, atmosphere, etc. But their burger was literally life changing! The hubs had the ribeye and loved it as well! You can tell they take pride in their food and it was worth every penny. Check them out you won’t be disappointed.

We went for my husband's birthday. He got the surf and turf and ordered his steak medium rare it came out medium well. The butter for the lobster was unsalted and flavorless. There were no condiments on the table and while our server was doing his best he was over sat and I couldn't get his attention to try and rectify the issues. I wouldn't recommend the Blackberry Moscow Mule either as there was way too much mint and it lost all the other flavors because it was just too much. I'm not sure we will return.
