Nothing to boast about, seems to have some good and bad days. But not worth what they charge and the upcharge in the pops is enough to piss anyone off

Potbelly is hands down my favorite sandwich shop. Anytime I’m in an area with one, it’s a must-visit spot—wish we had locations in WNY! Their sandwiches are always toasted to perfection, and the chips and cookies are the perfect pairing. My wife swears by adding a side of hot peppers for an extra kick, and honestly, I’ve never had a bad meal there.

The restaurant says it closes at 9:00pm. We ordered our food around 7:20pm and when they saw us sit down they said “oh are you dining in? Because our lobby closes at 7:30-8:00pm” ?? How can the tables to sit at “close” early but not the actual restaurant? Also why is there no sign stating the lobby closes early but not the restaurant? I think the employees probably just wanted to leave early - it’s ok, we cleaned up after ourselves after we ate in like 5 minutes.

Well even though this has been a favorite of mine for a long time, I’m not sure if I’ll be back here for a while. The sandwich is got, (the wreck) was ok but the pickles were the saddest pickles I have ever seen. They were long, thin, and stringy which is not satisfactory at all. Overall I would rate this place 3 stars until I have a better experience.

Vegetarian options: They have a salad but I’ve never had it so I can’t tell you if it’s good.

Dietary restrictions: Medium sized menu so it may be hard to find something for people with restrictions.

Parking: Small parking lot with somewhere between 40-50 spots.

Kid-friendliness: No kid menu but I ate here as a kid and I was fine.

Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs in the building that would restrict wheelchair users.

Why eat at a chain sub shop in such a great food city as Dearborn? I'll tell you: you cannot get food fast at almost any restaurant in Dearborn, even fast casual ones. It's always a minimum of twenty five minutes if you're lucky. As much as I love going to "real" restaurants here I don't always have enough time.

Plus it's always a satisfying experience. At this Potbelly, the service is always fast, friendly, and accurate, the bread and ingredients are really tasty and not gross like Subway, and the whole menu is uniformly tasty. Also really great vegetarian options, and lots of healthier choices. Plus the hot peppers in oil are so good I keep my fridge stocked with jars of them at all times.

On the less healthy side, Zapps potato chips are some of the best, and the double chocolate cookies are super good and rich enough to split with someone you love.

Vegetarian options: The mushroom melt and Mediterranean sandwiches are super delicious and even more so with hot peppers added.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of space and open layout.

Delivery driver didn’t bring me my shake but I was charged for it. Called the store and they asked me if I wanted to come pick it up even though I paid for delivery. By the time I even got the shake it would be melted.. they said they don’t do delivery so they could not send someone to deliver it. Even tho they just delivered my food. And they would not give me a refund or send another driver to bring me my shake. Very incompetent people. Very low intelligence employees. Worst location.

The guy that made the sandwich was very rude and hes a manager so definitely go elsewhere!!! ! Ordered a turkey-avocado sandwich and literally got the smallest piece of avocado available!! So small when i opened the sandwich to show them the guy had to put his gloves on to fish through it to find the avocado !! Never in life have i ever had anyone do that!! Iver $16 for a turkey and cheese sandwich on white bread is crazy!! Mad me so mad I didnt even eat it!! I will never be back’!!!on too of we had to wipe our own table down because they were all dirty!!! Jimmy Johns next time!
