The Yemeni latte was delicious, and seating was ample. Great place to work.

Overrated. Their drinks taste decent but for sure nothing is worth $5.00+. You can buy your own ingredients and make the exact drink with possibly better taste and less cost.

Best Yemi coffee and chai I’ve had so far! My favourite was the yemi latte which was full of flavour! And the interior is gorgeous as well!

Honeycomb bread is very good!
Update. I went there with a friend and spend about 2 hours talking. Hard to hear each other because the music to loud. Arabic singing music (could be a ambient music only, even if it was Arabic. Probably I won’t go there again with a friend. :(

If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Yemen, this cafe is a must-visit. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that transports you straight to the heart of Yemen. The Chai, brewed traditionally, is rich and aromatic, offering a comforting experience. The staff is friendly and attentive, making your experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a fantastic place to explore Yemen’s rich culinary heritage.

We were hunting for a hot cup of coffee on a cold windy Detroit day and luckily we found Qahwah House:
Open , bright and airy with a wide selection of Yemenis coffee and teas.
We tried a delicious piece of triple chocolate cake and were surprised how fresh and decadent it was.
After a pot of fresh mint tea we were back on our way , warmed in knowing we will return soon.
Parking: All parking is in the back of the location and it is limited.

It's a good place but the only problem is that tables are very close to each other you feel like you're sitting with them on the same table!
