Delish Asian Thai Cuisine

OK, I tried this spot twice and neither time excited me. Not sure if this is a Thai or Chinese restaurant, they serve both and neither is very good, very bland on all fronts. Skimpy on the proteins, stir-fry was not cooked well, lots of clumps and still white rice included in clumps. No flavor, just bland. Same with the main dish, I ordered spicy, and it came out bland it even shows as double spicy on menu, not even a blk. Pepper sting. Egg roll was bean spouts only and horrible. Again, no flavor and the sprouts came out of egg roll in one large clump even when I tried to chew it apart. Tried the soups, again nothing. Why no flavor. I remember growing up and Chinese and Thai dishes were delicious and flavorful, now they don't even use a basic spice. The protein didn't even have any flavor basically boiled meat thrown in at the last second to heat up, it shows in the quality of the meal. I would recommend somewhere else, they are not even trying. Going through the motions. Thai meal was exactly the same, noodles were clumpy no flavor, just basic coloring few vegetables and blah. The spring roll was way greasy and again no flavor, no salt, pepper, nothing. Horrible food overall. Do not go here unless they improve and get a better cook. Interior is dark and really dated. Most of the restaurant is closed off, and the lighting is really poor. This is fast food hole in the wall, dressed up as a real restaurant.

I live in Virginia, so no recent visits to tell about, but I first came to Delish when it was Rose Garden 50 years ago (1976). Was a dishwasher, then busboy. Learned how to stir fry along the way. Made lifelong friends of my fellow servers and busboys, even proposed to my wife right around the corner from the fountain, and had one of the servers stand up in our wedding. Best egg rolls in the country (and believe me I've looked for good ones all over the country). Fond memories, great food (hong shu gai! war shu op!) Glad to know it's still open. Absolutely amazing everything. Food was so good and great portion sizes, along with great prices. Our waiter was so nice and passionate, and this place is so calm and a great place for a nice dinner.

Came back twice in 2 weeks. Food is delicious and the service is even better. Sweet and sour chicken is great here. The tea is great. The soups and salads are great. I don't care too much for the rice. The fortune cookies are hilarious, lol. Highly recommend coming here.

Love this place! Been going here for lunch & the food is always tasty, fresh & fast! Plenty of tables for plenty of people. Portions are always huge, you'll be able to eat at the restaurant AND save some for dinner! Hungry? Come here ASAP!

First time trying Thai here i had the pad Thai it was VERY good could of had some more sprouts but the flavor, heat was on point and just overall delish! Will be back

Best food in town.very good, been coming here since the 60s under different management back then. In fact we drive over 50 miles to come here for a great meal.

Food is great! My fav is the Shrimp Egg Fu Young! Absolutely delicious and the customer service is top notch!!!
