Way overpriced…average at best….go a couple of blocks down the street to New Yasmeen Bakery….definitely the best in the city

Stopped by to grab some deserts for a birthday. Mini cakes come in so many varieties. I was helped when I walked in and the worker had great suggestions. They even wrote happy birthday on a piece of chocolate to put in the box. Amazing service and experience.

Love the look of the cake! The taste was not appetizing at all. I spent $180 for my cupcakes and cake to be very dry. They buttercream icing tastes like nothing but unsalted butter. I don’t think they use any sugar in their icing. The children at the party didn’t want them. They tossed them out which was horrible. I called in on the following Monday to inquire about this issue. No type of issue resolution. We waited to cut the cake only for it to be just as buttery. Completely waste of money

I visited Shatila Bakery based on strong recommendations and even went out of my way to try their baklava—but unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype for me. The baklava was just average and not as flavorful or rich as I expected. Most items are sold by the piece ($1.50–$2.50) or by the pound, and I found the pricing a bit steep, especially for what you get.

I also tried the cream kunafa (around $12 for a small portion)—again, not very impressive. The desserts came with sugar syrup on the side, which makes them quite bland if you don’t pour it generously.

Overall, I personally didn’t enjoy the baklava and wouldn’t go out of my way again. It might suit some palates, but for me, it wasn’t worth the detour or the price.

Love Shatila’s pastries, but had a very disappointing experience over the phone. The older gentleman who answered was rude, impatient, and dismissive — he wouldn’t even let me finish my question about cake options before cutting me off. Really expected better customer service from such a well-known bakery.

This place was better than expected. We did have one piece of cake that was somewhat dry but everything else delicious and the prices were cheaper than expected. The establishment is beautiful and the staff was quick and friendly. We will definitely be coming back to try more. Awesome spot. I found that cookie I've been looking for for years!!!!!

It is a haven for lovers of Middle Eastern sweets, offering a delectable array of baklava, kanafeh, and pastries made with the freshest ingredients. The vibrant atmosphere and rich aroma of baked goods make every visit memorable besides the wait time which I guess is worth it. Don’t miss their creamy, flavorful gelato—an absolute treat!

Love this place. They always have the best choices and so beautiful not to mention tasty. You cannot go wrong with anything you try, other than your pocket may feel it because you end up walking out with way too much food because it’s all so delicious. This Christmas cake is stunning. We will be back and we always recommend to family and friends.
