I am so disappointed in the baklava I bought here. I thought this was supposed to be a good bakery and bought some as a gift. I bought separately a few pieces for me to try. It was not good! I've had great baklava in Michigan, but this was bad. It was so bad I decided I could not give it as a gift. I bought another gift from another Detroit bakery to give. The baklava here was heavy with a bad oily taste. One reviewer says the box no longer lists butter an an ingredient but oils instead. Whatever it is, it's yuck!

I stop by to get some pastries yesterday and it was so busy. The line was over 100 numbers. The young lady who taking care of of my order was very unfriendly.After bought pastries home and open the bag there’re no rose syrup or pistachio topping come with it. I drove like an hour to go there.I went to this location before and I know that they suppose to put rose syrup and pistachio come with the order I purchased.

I visited your store on 4-6-23.i ordered 2 pieces of chocolate mousse, was very disappointed. The cake was very dry,we ended up throwing the cake away. That cost me $8.00.l hope that was just a mistake that got by.i have plans to visit your store one more time and try something different. I definitely expect better quality than the last time.
We went three time to order Cake went over everything 2 times they ask us to bring everything and The cake looks like nothing, what we ask for it and when we went to pick the cake they make us wait for manager and he never came in they did not make us a new they said no enough timeAnd they say this’s the same, they could easily say sorry, we cannot make it

If 0 stars was an option I would totally put it. First off , this place is slow and has bad staff. The staff would much rather talk to one another and laugh with one another rather than help customers when the line is going all the way to papaya fruit market. This bakery has mid desserts. They love to pile it up with syrup and you can't even taste the pastry. The workers cannot hear you and you can't hear them saying anything. They should get a megaphone to scream numbers and understand what the customer is saying. STAY AWAY.

Usually the dessert and staff are decent and get you in and out but today going in I grab my number which they typically use to determine customer order. Tell me why every person including two men who came in after us got served first. My number was next in line for a hole 15 minutes while they just went up to people asking what they want. When I finally do have someone serve me when I ask them how much a cake is she looks at the man next to me telling him. I do not know this man mind you we came in separate and he was with another dude. Totally unprofessional I’m very disappointed with the disrespect I received as a young woman.
