I had not been in this place 3 years since the pandemic took place. New owner, new decoration, new atmosphere. I ordered my favorite dish - shish kabob as usual. I love kabobs. I can tell the difference from this basic dish. The flavor of a shish kabob is where it truly shines. The meat is tender and has a good texture. It was absolutely out of my expectation. The quality is much better than that of  several other restaurants in Dearborn I usually went to. I absolutely recommend this restaurant!

First, the storefront signage is not "Shish Palace" (It used to be "Ollie's" that was really good). Called in a pickup of "Chicken Combo (Serves 4-6). Description is "Delicious offering .. includes whole deboned chicken, four chicken tawook skewers, four chicken kafta, chicken shawarma, hummus, rice."What we got was rice (dry, flavorless), four little bread rolls (felt like day old), small hummus (no complaints other than not a 'medium' serving), two medium fatoush salads (lettuce was fresh, but the one small garlic yogurt and dressing was old), two tablespoons of chicken shawarma (good), and four compressed grilled chicken chunk logs (absolutely disgusting). +$100. Trust me. Stay away.

A bit pricy $58 for 2 of us at lunch. Grape leaves side was $15.00 for like 5 or 6 grape leaves. Bread was good however my lamb Shish Kabob was burnt. Was not worth the money but the food was basically Good. Out of Baklava and the coffee machine was broken.

Parking: Parking was not a problem. No one was in the restaurant for lunch.

I ordered my food via uber eats and did not get what I paid for I am very disappointed and will not be ordering or purchasing anything from this place again……..lucky to even get one star

Everything about this restaurant is top-notch. The food is amazing. The staff is kind, friendly, informative, and welcoming. The atmosphere is clean, inviting, and beautiful. I've gone 3 times in the past month and am so excited for the patio to open once it warms up. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Lamb was delicious. Good food, giant portions, and great service/atmosphere. Def worth the visit!

I waited more than 20 minutes to place a takeout order 4 to 5different people came into the restaurant and got service before me the manager was nice she was very polite but the cashiers stared at me look at me and continue to take others orders I will not recommend this place to any African-American are black person due to customer service

Food is really good.Environment is so really gorgeous.Prices is average like other mediterranean restaurant.Rawan was our waitresses and she is an excellent server who made our day wonderful with her quick service.I definitely recommend this place place.Best Yemeni resturant in Michigan!!

The food here was very very good! Our server was Malak and she was so kind and professional and personable. I will definitely be back.

45 MINUTES FOR A SHAWARMA SANDWICH AND A SMOOTHIE! Ordered pickup and got there when it was supposed to be ready. Waited 45 minutes while absolutely everyone got served even when they ordered while I sat. The lid didn't even fit on the smoothie. All I got was a curt sorry for the wait. New management is garbage.

I was very disappointed! My friends and I ate here, very very disappointed. We ordered soup, tea, Bread and was waiting for our guest to arrive. The waitress kept coming to our table asking us to order, we said that we were waiting for our guest. We were discussing business, the conversation was great! We noticed this waitress kept coming to our table asking to take the menus back even after we said we were wanting one menu left on the table, she actually said you are not in a cafe if your not going to order you need to leave. She came back three to 4 more times to say that it was not a cafeteria if we didn’t order we had to leave. We are professional black women, I am a Doctor. This was very embarrassing. It was clear that we have been treated with racism. Even when we said we would order a bigger meal she had an attitude, so we know it was not about our order and more about the fact that we were black.We made a to go order and tipped to show we are the bigger person. It’s so sad that we were only trying to have fellowship and talk about God and in this dinning we’re treated this way.I had dinned there a few days ago and enjoyed it so much I wanted to bring my sisters in life and business and we were treated very poorly.

I think its under new management not gonna lie they need some training I guess it was the owner that asked how was the food when I was paying and I told him it wasn’t good at all he smile and said okay as he didn’t care or apologize wouldn’t ever go there

I usually get take out here and the first time (years ago) i was already surprised how pretty it was inside. They've made it surprisingly gorgeous now. Excellent portions of delicious food and friendly people. Also great place to take friends from elsewhere.
