Why is it every time I go to Sonic, I hit the button and am never even acknowledged? Then when I finally get someone’s attention it takes 20 minutes to wait for an order? I just ended up leaving and went elsewhere.
Restaurant was clean and staff was friendly. The order was made efficiently for my delivery.

I love sonic but this is the worst sonic I’ve ever been to. They completely ignore your order if you make it in the booth. I had to go inside and ring a bell. Wait about 2 min just to be told me food was already done and had been waiting.

Didnt bring it out for carhop, had to go in and wait 20+ mins, got the wrong drink, asked for a new one got the wrong drink again, asked for no cheese on my wrap and got cheese, also forgot the sauce.

If something is unavailable for a DoorDash don’t just send what you think the customer would be “happy with” people who order sonic ice are ordering specifically for SONIC ICE. . But instead i have a manger on the phone laughing at me telling me “it’s not that serious” and “you order ice and that’s what you got ICE” as if I’m supposed to just accept what they sent me . Won’t spend a dime here again and mind you my family and i work a lot so we are ALWAYS and i do mean ALWAYS ordering a bunch of food from sonic as well as the 4RT cups of ice . Won’t be returning . Disgrace if you ask me!

November 11th 2025 around 9:30pm me, my son and my daughter watched the woman calling herself the manager in a blue/teal looking hoodie deny a man an order he was picking up because he looked through their wide open door and told them he had a pick up. That was after he was in front of us and rung the bell and nobody came. Very unprofessional. Then the middle eastern looking man came out and threatened to call the police because the guy asked them to cancel the order if they wouldn't give it to him. They laughed and joked as he kept ringing the bell and getting ignored. This was very bad customer service and scary to be around when in this day and age we live in bad things happen from stuff like that. Unsafe, poor customer service and lack of responsiveness from management. Will not return and I will make sure friends and family no longer support this unprofessional business. The man kept saying he felt its because he was white. If I could give no stars I would.

Sonic used to have great service, but lately it’s gone downhill. The staff don’t seem to care anymore and customer service has gotten really bad. Orders are often wrong or take forever, and no one apologizes. It’s disappointing to see how much the quality has dropped — they really need to step it up again

So dissapointed - not been to the US in 13 years and had good memories of Sonic so got a friend to drive me to one. Sadly the food here was not as I remember. Here it was over priced and not very nice. The tater-tots had hardly any potato in - just over fried lumps of crunchy batter. The onion rings was under cooked and the Burgers so mushed up and greasey. My friend left half of his burger. Ruined my positive image I previously had of Sonic (we do not have this chain in the UK). I wish I could go back to the one someone else took me to all them years ago when I was last in the Detroit area where the food was yummy. But this one I would say avoid!

Amazing staff and atmosphere.....but since when did ice become 5 bucks a bag use to be two dollars a bag.....I will always buy the ice it is amazing

I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a fast food restaurant at the Sonic in Dearborn. The food I received was absolutely unacceptable!! my burger was completely smushed, smashed, and looked beyond unappetizing. To make matters worse, my niece actually became sick and started throwing up after eating it.
When I called to address the issue, I expected at the very least an apology or some form of resolution. Instead, the manager was shockingly rude, completely dismissive, and refused to give me my money back. Rather than handling the situation professionally, he went as far as to insult me directly, calling me “trash.” This is completely unprofessional behavior from someone in a management position.Not only was the food quality disgusting, but the lack of basic customer service and respect made this experience absolutely unacceptable. No customer should be treated this way. This location clearly does not care about food standards or about treating people with decency. I will never return to this Sonic

I had a very disappointing experience. The hamburger was awful and disgusting, and when I asked for a refund, the managers, Ali and Abe, refused in a very rude and unprofessional manner.
Their attitude was unacceptable and the customer service was disgusting. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place.

I ordered food and it was absolutely disgusting it smelled bad and tasted even worse. I called to make a complaint, and first a manager named Ali spoke to me but didn’t resolve anything. Then someone named Abe called me for no clear reason. It was confusing and unprofessional to have a different person contacting me every time.
I asked for a refund, and they refused even though the food went straight into the trash. Complete waste of money. Horrible service, awful food, and no accountability. I will never be going back, and I don’t recommend anyone to go there.
