Visited on New Year's Day. Friendly staff ,clean restaurant. Sat at the bar while waiting for carryout. Drinks were the BEST. Food was packed neatly and piping hot ..tender and juicy. We had the family meal. Would recommend.

Great very moist broiled salmon. Only critique would be either serve crispy skin up or remove the skin. Excellent potatoes and yummy garlic bread. Everything was great. Tried my guests ribs and chicken wings too; tender most tasty and fantastic breading on the chicken. The service was great and we waited and wanted for nothing. Small wonder one of my guests is a regular. It's so hard to find salmon cooked properly, I usually buy and cook at home because everywhere overcooks it but westpoint gained my appreciation!

Our Red Hat Ladies had a Christmas dinner there. The food and service were great. Everyone was happy with the choice and it is often hard to please 15 women! They gave us a separate room at no charge.
I personally didn't care for the rib tips, my salad and baked potato was good. The group I was with, seemed to enjoy their meals. Our waitress handled our group of 12 very well.

The place is on Michigan Avenue and approach takes you around the back. It has plenty of parking and easy out once more. The decor seem more Like an Italian restaurant and service is good. The portions are large but the food seem warmed up and not fresh. They do have an extensive bar options but limited on beer options. Plenty of seats and seem to be well staff. It was a slow Sunday afternoon so it could be better on alternative days and food options. Overall a good place to visit and try it out.

Westpoint BBQ used to be a great place to eat at that sells descent food. I ate there for my birthday on October 30, 2025. The staff is very rude, shady, unprofessional and try to sneak extra charges on your bill. They tried to charge me a $12 service charge on my bill when it was clearly just myself and my two children trying to enjoy ourselves. It was other people at the restaurant who we met there but were totally separate from each other. They argued that it is the law and they can do that. You cannot charge a service charge to customers and not tell them up front for a party of three that you are going to do that. We argued back and forth and they finally took the charge off the bill. We have been visiting this restaurant for over 20 years. I am fed up with the ridiculous service they provide here. It is a family operated business that is power struck and greedy. Today they lost a very loyal customer forever. Treat all people right no matter how they look. That is what should be a law. This establishment need some customer service training. Hospitality is seriously lacking here, take this advice and do better for your next customers. Word of mouth is powerful, I will let my people know not to support Westpoint BBQ anymore.

Girls monthly luncheon choice. Seated at 1:00. Not busy as most business at this time was takeout. Choice of booth or chair seating. Our waitress was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. 5/5 meal choices were rated delicious!! Ribs dry rub and smoked chicken to perfection. The fried fish and shrimp, outstanding. Not greasy. Steak Melt was large as all meal portions were. Gyros Salad, yummy. Restrooms were clean. Plenty of parking on private lot with handicap.
Very good food. Love the Broasted Chicken....never got a bad dish of anything. Great Family Restaurant.

We ordered 1 slab of ribs dinner for 2, well were looking forward to have a nice Rib dinner for my husband I and boy were we disappointed the ribs were more like rib bark on the bones. We did have about 5 nice ribs but the rest were puny like they were mix and match using 1/2 set of one decent rack and 1/2 rack of ribs from another rack of ribs but not.the same rack! The coleslaw my husband said it was all right nothing to speak of it could have been sweeter. The delicious big slice of bread I always loved their bread I always looked forward to it but this time it was not very easy to chew like it was reheated in the microwave. Talking about being very disappointed ☹️
