Friendly atmosphere. Great nostalgia. Not much for food selection. Needs to step the Bar game up. Had too many substitutes for the Top Shelf stuff. The cheap stuff gives me headaches moments later.
My son and I stopped for a beer last Saturday afternoon. We were the only people there. Mary sat with us and gave us a detailed history of the place—which I’m sure she’s done hundreds of times. She is so nice. Loved the place. Stroh’s beer are very inexpensive, too. No food but Mary recommended another bar for lunch in nearby Hamtramck, which turned out to be a great place. There are a few parking spots behind the bar, otherwise it’s street parking.

Awesome Service, the platinum status of any DiveBar I've ever walked into.. from the OG rotary-phonebooth to even having a pool table.. NOT for the pinkie-in-the-air or wine drinker type of establishment.. absolute must!! 💯 visit for the authentic dive and historic bar connoisseur. Need to come back n hang with the cool bartender n maybe a ghost...
