Beer, beer and more beer! This has to be the best collection of craft beer in the city, in addition to their rotating taps, byof, dog friendly and overall great vibes!

Tim and his staff are top class. Huge variety of beers and snacks and the service is always 10/10. We even had our pre-wedding party here and it couldn’t have been a better event thanks to the Plato team. Affordable, classy, and genuine - come here, you won’t be sorry!

Got recommended this place as a good spot to buy European beers from a coworker. Went with a friend to shop for beers and have a beer while we were there. Was denied buying beer as they have a “no vertical I’d policy”. As a legal adult who love European beer I was shocked and appalled. My id expires in 2029, not even a close to expiring. I am very angry and disappointed. Never in my life would I think to be turned away from buying beer as a legal adult.

I ordered a few Lagunitas Hoppy Refreshers (hop water) for $1.49 per can. I wanted to have them there along with some beer samples from the tap. I was made aware of a corkage fee to drink the hop waters there, before drinking them. I should have asked about the price of the fee, but I assumed that it would be nominal in comparison to the price of the drink. That is on me for making that assumption and not asking. The corkage fee was $5.00 per hop water! So I spent $15.00 in corkage fees for $4.47 worth of hop water, totalling to $19.47 for 3 cans of hop water. It is on me for not asking, but I wish that the bar tender would have told me the price of the corkage fee, being that it was over 3x the price of the product. Even though the receipt says that Tim served me, I don't think that the bar tender's name would have been Tim, but regardles, it's only $15.00, but it's also $15.00.

I was Juan of this establishments 1st regulars and even hit up the ferndale spot- still the #1 And be$t beer or whiskey watering holes in the entire metro detroit/SE-Mi area. I'm into high abv BA Stouts and this is the best place to get Michigan's best and beyond-from european sours to local ipa's nowhere you can consume onsite can compare. You can bring in food- they also have delicious pop-ups, you can bring in your WELL-behaved pet and- of course service animal- gave it 5 stars a decade ago and today nothing has changed. Local or just passing thru if you Know quality beer and whiskey or sake.. this is the place ✌️

Not what it used to be. Beer selection on the store side has really fallen off but the draft taps always have something interesting at least. I wish they would open another beer shop like the Ferndale location that closed.
