Fish was fresh & no smell in the entire place. They fish eyes wasnt cloudy. Grease wasnt old & smoking up the place. Food was really good & nice prices

Fresh fried chicken shrimp and fish with hush puppies and okra! Always good.
A1 is a hidden gem. I did not expect the food to be that good. The food was really good. The owner and staff really know their product. This is one of the rare seafood places that actually gives you catfish when you pay for catfish and don't try to trick you by giving you swai. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for seafood carry out.

When people talk about the local, unassuming gem of a restauraunt in their neighborhood, this is it.Just shared a meal of chicken wings and tenders with my roommates and hands down, not since I lived in Chicago have I had such good fried food since moving back 4 years ago. Lemon pepper seasoning is perfect, the food is not greasy at all.Good crunch, but the batter doesn't take up the majority of each bite. Hot, fresh and delicious. It is a walk in, so no tables, but well worth it.The gentleman at the cashier was friendly, helpful, and kind. I asked for his recommendation and was not dissappointed. Prices were excellent for the quality of the food.Will definitely be coming by again!
