Stay away from the fried COD and lobster tails. Service is always fairly good. Parking can be a hassle on certain days especially the weekends.

Solid spot for fried fish, chicken, and seafood. It's best to call ahead during busy times like lunch and dinner if possible. I enjoy their catfish. It's one of my go-to places.

This place is okay, it is inside of the Sunoco gas station on Nevada & Conant, I had the 3 pc Fish and an 8 pc dark meat chicken with some fries, the fish is actually pretty good and very juicy, it had very delicious flavors and the chicken was good too but not outstanding they do cake a lot of seasoning on it at the end but all in all it was ok.

Pretty cool place! Buy fish raw and cook yourself or choose from menu items and walk out with something ready to eat. Everything is pretty affordable too! I got combo #3 and chose the perch and substituted the hush puppies for the fries. The hush puppies were delicious! Perch was very tasty as well. The workers are also super nice and accommodating! Can't wait to come back to try it items. Really have my eye on a steamed lobster tail. Combo Meals

Doesn't look much when you walk by don't sleep on it! They have quite a lot to offer. Instead of restaurant, this is actually a seafood market. They sell various types of fish--catfish, tilapia, salmon, whiting, perch, orange roughy, red snapper, white bass cod--the list goes on and on. They also have shrimp, crawfish, mussels, and such. In addition, they sell some hot sauces and some basic Southern pantry ingredients. Now their menu really is their cooked food items, but as the name they also have chicken tenders and wings. There is no dine in place so it's takeout only. Would highly recommend to order beforehand so you can just pickup. Otherwise it can be quite a wait because they seem to have a lot of orders in line. We ordered one of the combo menu. I forgot specifically which one but it has fish, chicken, shrimp, and also comes with fries. All the proteins are fried to crisp, but still maintains its juiciness. They have various sauces but I think extra sauce cost extra. One thing though, I'm not impressed at all with the fries as they lack flavor and is not crispy at all though not to a point of being soggy. Price is reasonable
Love this fish spot in Oak park, so good I love the shrimp & catfish. They got it down to a science and they listen when you request your order of catfish fried hard. I love to get platters of catfish & shrimp for girls nights.

I wrote a better review a few years back, about some of the customers verbally attacking the workers, and walking out of the restaurant without canceling the order, it was rude. I defended the fish carry-out place. Now in 2022 things have changed, I was receiving cold food- more than once. I finally called the Fish place, and the person who answer the phone said that the manager wasn't available. Two days later I went up there, and explain about the food, next thing I know he start screaming at me and said, 30 times you complained in my store. A friend of mine was a witness in the fish carry-out place, and they said to me I wouldn't go back to this place if I were you. I was humiliated and embarrassed by how the manager talked to me. I gave them tips when I saw no one else did. I will never go back there again, and besides, who would want to eat cold fish, and cold fries, and be treated like a wild beast?

There were a few people ahead of me in line but the guy running the counter was super fast. They have delicious seasonings you can put on your food before he bags it up. The fried shrimp are deveined & the batter is so crispy. Quick friendly service & good food!

Nobody in kitchen including the guy frying fish had on MASK OR GLOVES. Terrible, then when asked where his masked or gloves where. Dumbfounded

Their jumbo fried shrimp is the BESTEST I don't like fried shrimp from any place else! It's best to call and order ahead. The menu is online if you use Yelp! You can have them add seasoning when you pick it up. Lemon pepper or Cajun. It so delicious I don't even use sauce . I feel like Homer Simpson drooling just thinking about it.
