I love this place 🄲. My fav coffee shop while I was visiting Detroit for 3 months. They have great coffee, egg sandwiches, burritos, pastries, and the people who work there are wonderful. Shout out to David for creating such a wonderful place šŸ«¶šŸ½

Cute little coffee shop with plenty of seating. Grabbed a latte and a matcha to try. Coffee had good flavour (had a bit more citrus taste to it) but the matcha wasn't as good as I expected (although I am a bit more picky with my matcha). Other than that, the experience was great and they close a bit later than the usual coffee shops I go to which is great. Service was quick too so I was in and out right away. Not a bad spot to check out if you're ever around the area.

The fresh smell of coffee and the cozy window seat drew me insidešŸ’•The Alba Egg Sandwich was delectable as Giger Turmeric Hot Tea was exactly what I needed the coffee certainly lived up to it’s robust smell

Great coffee and amazing pastries. But the staff is way too casual and slow. They're having long conversations with customers, which maybe some people enjoy. But I'm just trying to get some coffee and get out. I don't want to wait in line for over 10 minutes

First time visiting Alba. It was an early evening Sunday visit and many things are closed in Detroit. Quiet enough for a one to one chat but not dead so there was a proper vibe. My party had great coffee and chai along with some tasty pastries. Very nice and welcoming counter server. You should check out ALBA!

I just moved to the area and I’ve fallen in love with this little coffee shop. They’re super friendly, they have great music and they make good coffee and gluten free pastries. It’s a staple of my weekend now and I’m lucky to have it so close by!

Alba is a great spot in Detroit with a stylish atmosphere and a creative menu. The food was fresh, well prepared, and beautifully presented, and the drinks were just as impressive. Service was attentive and friendly, which made for an enjoyable experience overall. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is that a couple of items felt a little on the pricey side for the portion size.

Soul-reviving coffee, healthy snacks, fun and friendly staff, amazing tunes, clean restroom. It doesn't get much better than this.

Coffee good. Service good. Croissants were made yesterday or 2 days ago. So hard.

A little pricey, but you're absolutely getting what your paying for. Their egg sandwich was fantastic with some unique flavors. Service was nice, the baristas seemed to love their jobs

Great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. To be honest, it was an article about the breakfast sandwiches that first brought me over and they were well worth the hype. Good mix of seating available and works as a small, but good place to read or work

Alba is my absolute favorite neighborhood coffee shop in Corktown. The moment you walk in, you’re greeted by stunning local artwork that transforms the walls into a gallery, with vibrant paintings that spark great conversations. The exposed brick walls, cozy seating areas with charming ladder-back chairs, and thoughtful details like dried flower arrangements create the perfect blend of rustic charm and refined comfort.

Their pastry game is very unique and full of variety - from flaky croissants to concha bread, everything is beautifully presented and tastes even better than it looks. The impressive variety means there’s always something new to try, and you can tell they put real care into every detail, right down to how they wrap their famous Alba egg sandwich (which is insanely addictive).

This isn’t just a coffee shop - it’s a community hub where you can sit and read or just chill for hours and feel completely at ease. The baristas are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making every visit feel like you’re being greeted by old friends. Alba has mastered the art of creating a space that feels both polished and unpretentious, making it exactly the kind of local business that makes Corktown even more special. Highly recommend Alba to anyone looking for quality coffee, delicious pastries, and a truly welcoming atmosphere!
