I've gone to the Assembly Line for several years on my birthday; and normally I wouldn't have given them a bad review. However I've several qualms with them now: 1. The pricing 2. The schedule change to only Mondays 3. The fact that fisheries are closed on Mondays; so when I go for my seafood monday I'll be getting last weeks crab.

How is this place still in business? Ruined the best buffet in Detroit. The prices are twice as high, quality fell off, and restaurant is more crowded then ever, most likely because they only open on Monday's now lol what a joke of a "business". Just sell this restaurant already to someone who wants to make money everyday. Especially on WEEKENDS when most out of towners come spend money. What kind of idiot manager/ owner decided to only operate on Monday's anyway? Just taking up prime restaurant space 6 days out the week. Sell this buffet to a better owner smfh

Our favorite place to eat. I wish there were more choices like there used to be but it still has what you want and need. The sushi is top notch. The crab legs were so good. Prime rib always great. Salad bar is smaller than it once was but still has the necessities. The staff is always attentive and helpful. The buffet is kept stocked and very clean all around the restaurant. I just wish it was open everyday as before.

Friggin amazed no line yesterday. Why? TJ is a no response manager. Waited for 4hours 3 weeks ago for Monday only seafood buffet. Crab was great but not worth standing in line. The manager is supposedly TJ whose been there forever but hasn't done anything to reduce wait time. Yesterday was different. I don't know why there was no line.

Since all the other buffets are closed at the casino, this is a real bonus. They have kept it open for the people. Yes, sometimes things don't go right. But on the whole it's great. I go down just for the buffet and if I win well, that's another bonus.

First off they need to get rid of the picture of the desert bar that no longer exist.
I went to the Assembly line for the first time since COVID last night. I was thoroughly disappointed. It cost 2x as much as the last time I went. There isn't much selection anymore. The service has gone down hill. And the do it yourself desert bar is gone.
I don't know where they get off charging what they do, for what they provide, but I will never be spending my money there again.
I just found out this wonderful place is closed? Mondays only for crab legs? All those lovely people lost their jobs? Some of those servers have been there for years. Sure, the menu was fixed but that's why we love it! Steaks cooked to order, pizza, pasta, sushi, asian dishes, so many desserts! During NFL draft weekend this place would be JUMPING. Shame on motorcity casino.

My experience was terrible. 0 out of 10 would not recommend. The wait was absolutely terrible, they stopped moving the line to give preferential treatment to “VIP’s” They stopped moving the line in to start letting in VIPs who had only just got there, instead of alternating and said to hell with the rest of us. They didn’t start moving the line until my mother (who was understandably frustrated) said something. If this is how you treat customers that are patronizing you, then we will not be coming back there. It was completely unorganized, children, especially those with special needs weren’t accommodated, and then we get in there just for the food to not be that good. You guys need to do better and treat ALL your paying customers with consideration and respect. This was a very disappointing experience.

My son who’s autistic was having severe anxiety because of the noise outside the buffet, so my mother who had him tried to get him inside the buffet to sit on the benches so he’d be ok but the host told her that her supervisor said he can go sit at the little Caesar’s. That’s where my mother was sitting with him when the noise started getting to him. You guys have children waiting for hours with no accommodations whatsoever.
