My sister and I made reservations for Friday evening. We had an amazing time! Brittany was our server and she was absolutely the best! She had plenty of recommendations for us and helped us choose our drinks with ease. We ordered the shrimp cocktail, salmon deviled eggs, and chicken wraps. The casino reps are excellent for the most part, but the restaurants are over priced for the garbage they serve. Barstool served us a Barstool nachos that we asked for chicken (that tasted and looked like bologna) and extra cheese which wasn't even melted. Hollywood casino/hotel offers the best downtown Detroit experience. The hotel is in a safe and convenient location near outdoor events, restaurants and a few shopping outlets. Hollywood casino/hotel rooms are modern, sanitized and comfortable and the staff is very professional.
