Athens Souvlaki Downtown Reviews
Delicious food, wonderful employees. My new favorite Greek restaurant.
We ate there for late lunch on NFL Draft Day 1, Thursday. The food was delicious! I had a gyro and side of onion rings, yum! Very nice, clean atmosphere and friendly, attentive server. I’ll definitely be back!

Athens Souvlaki Downtown is a must-visit for delicious and affordable homemade Greek food. The restaurant offers a perfect diner-style experience with friendly and attentive service, quick lunch options, and fresh, fantastic meals. Their homemade bread is a must-try, especially with the chicken Greek salad. The gyro with feta and grilled pita are highly recommended, with the homemade dressing adding a creamy and tangy touch. Whether you go for pita sandwiches, saganaki, salads, or lemon rice soup, you can't go wrong. Located in the Penobscot Building, it’s a short walk from Huntington Place and a downtown lunch staple where you can enjoy a meal between $8 and $20. The owner ensures every guest is satisfied, making it a place worth visiting again and again.
