Incredible food and excellent service. These bad reviews are full of it, don’t listen to the karens nit picking stupid stuff; this place is fantastic. These bad reviews French toast is beyond belief. And the mocha I ordered had the cutest art on it.

The staff are so welcoming and the crème brûlée French toast is truly a treat. We were visiting from out of town and came back to Babo the next day to get French toast again. The service was also very fast both days.

Service quality are second to none! These ladies hustle! Creme Brule pancakes are amazing... BUT, $6 cappuccino, that was served as a latte....and the sub par espresso (extremely bitter) degrade the experience. Also, the Korean cheese steak sandwich should be served open side UP on a hoagie and what was served (for $19) was a disappointment. Brunch was $80 for 2. Sadly, I will not be back to Babo.

We had a group of 5 people so we tried a lot of things! The veggie skillet, so good! The waffles, perfectly fluffy and crisp, and mmm, the Arnold Palmer, chefs kiss! The server was phenomenal, can’t remember her name, but she had super short blond hair and was the kindest, super attentive. Literally everything on the menu sounded so good. Omg yes the churros… fantastic! Everything tasted so fresh and they were so fast.

Super tasty food and friendly staff. Would highly recommend giving it a try. Really enjoyed my food, the Ruben was delicious as well as the breakfast!!

I might have to try something different. Just ordered an omelette and potatoes. Was a small plate of food, small orange juice and just mediocre. It was the dirty seating for me. I didn’t even want to sit down. Servers were nice though.

Excellent foodie joint with a tiny espresso/cocktail bar inside.

Babo is hands-down one of my favorite spots in Detroit. The food is amazing, fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. The whole place gives off serious West Coast vibes with tons of natural light, airy design, and a welcoming, laid back atmosphere. It’s the kind of spot that instantly puts you in a good mood. The drinks are amazing thoughtfully crafted and always on point (I recommend the espresso martini). Whether you’re grabbing brunch, lunch, or just hanging out, Babo nails it every time. Need to try the crème brule French toast, lemon ricotta pancakes, black truffle omelet and truffle fries. I also recommend booking a reservation to avoid waiting for a table.

Amazing brunch spot. So cute. Great aesthetics. Customer service was very nice. Food delicious. They have mimosas. If it’s 2 people. Get the bottle for $40. It’s worth it.

I was expecting more. It's fancy, and they are trying.

I've been coming here for about 3 years now. I love the food! The staff are young college students, but they are great. Very friendly staff. Music is always on point, and the vibe is always chill. This is my favorite breakfast place.

I ordered carryout from Babo. My experience with this establishment in the past has been excellent. Today was the opposite, the hostess gave very little enthusiasm for my patronage. The food was poor, the ricotta pancakes were undercooked, and lacked flavor. The blue berries on my pancakes and in my girlfriend's side of fruit were wilted. My girlfriend's truffle mushroom omlette lacked flavor and very small. What happened Babo?!
