We loved the food and the service was competent and friendly. But it's very noisy! Made it hard to hear conversation within our small (3) group. Suggest some rugs or tapestries on the walls to absorb noise.

This was the perfect little quaint breakfast spot that I found next to my hotel while I was on a business trip in Detroit. The owner was amazing in explaining to me how he came about opening this restaurant. The servers were amazing. The food was excellent if you’re ever in Detroit, it’s a must go to. Especially love the bubbly energy of the young lady that served me while I sat at the bar. I can’t remember her name, but she had the biggest personality. I don’t eat meat so I had vegan chorizo and it was so delicious. I also had delicious waffles and eggs. Food was so yummy.
The food is great but the customer service HOST is terrible this is the 3rd time I’ve experience rude customer service I don’t need to eat here, it’s a choice start hiring more pleasant people this the 3rd time there has been RUDE she put my name on the list told me 20 mins forgot about me and when I asked her about the wait after 35 mins she got upset and clearly forgot about me I GAVE THIS PLACE 3 chances ill never be back!

Overall, this is a great brunch restaurant and we enjoyed our meals. As other reviews mention, the prices are a bit high for what you get but the food does have good flavor. There is a good variety of meals to choose from. We walked in as a party of 4 on a Saturday morning. The wait time was 30 mins but we were able to snag 4 seats at the bar. There is only 5 seats total so we were lucky to have gotten them. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful and we always had anything that we needed. The chicken and waffles were good but not the best. There was a lack in flavor overall. The avocado toast was delicious and I think the best value for what you get. The countryman’s breakfast was a good amount of food. The French toast is very filling and sweet so keep that in mind. It is probably best to share with someone/others. The caprese omelette was a 10/10 and the best tasting item overall. We all ordered coffees/lattes and they were good.

My smokin hot gf took me here for my bday brunch (thanks babe). Place is absolutely lights out. Cannot wait to come back. Korean beef cheese steak and crème brûlée French toast were game changers. 10/10 would recommend.
