We had a good experience here! Really nice that they had a dinner for two deal for only $49! It was so much food, we nearly couldn't finish it all. Will definitely continue to come back.
We have been to this restaurant several times. Last night they were extremely busy. There was a hockey game that evening, causing them to be very busy. Despite that, the food and service were excellent. We will definitely come back again.
Great atmosphere, food was fantastic and Hannah, our server, was awesome!! Will definitely return!
Once again an amazing experience! Food was delicious (try the brisket queso 🤤) and service was fantastic! Can't wait for to try the new crunchy tacos next time!!
Y'all have to check this place out. We met two of the coolest individuals ever, named Larry and Payton who gave us impeccable service. We were there for a birthday. The birthday boy received a complimentary birthday shot with a lit candle on the side. And since it had been our first time eating there, our queso we ordered was free. The food was amazing. Go show Larry and Payton some love.
Great place prior to hockey game. Two blocks to Little Caesar'sArena. Very busy, we're sat promptly for our reservationtime. Fun atmosphere, lively. Difficult to talk, hear one another across the table. Drinks were a little slow to the table, but to be expected with the large crowd. Appetizers and assortment of tacos very good! Margaritas were excellent. Overall, an enjoyable experience, recommend.
Would not suggest coming here on a game night. It felt the service and the food could have been better if everyone wasn't so busy. We thought the shareable's were better than the tacos. The pork meat was overcooked and really dry. Note I added under the reservation was not mentioned or met, if you are looking for special requests.
We made a reservation, showed up early & they were able to seat us right away. Our server Abby was amazing & very tentative! Food was delicious and came out relatively quick. Seasonal margarita ( Cranberry & Ginger) was amazing. Will definitely be coming back!
My favorite Mexican food restaurant in the area! We got the two for $26per person menu. Outstanding value and multiple choice of delicious dishes. It was extremely busy but our waitress, Justice, was very pleasant and efficient.
Seated within minutes of checking in. Food was delicious. The smaller menu provides less wondering what to order. The restaurant was busy as there was a concert nearby at LCA. The service was a little slow but not concerning. The restaurant was very loud which made it hard to hear others in your party, but overall a wonderful place.

Fantastic food at a really great price. Splitting 2 apps and each getting a meal, all of our bills were under $25.00 (no alcoholic drinks). It was very noisy but that is expected on a Saturday night, we had a great time! Would definitely recommend
Lovely location right downtown with some upscale pub style Mexican food cocktails and beer service is good friendly great environment. Highly recommend recommended.

Six of us ranging in age from 22 to 81 went for dinner at Bakersfield after a wonderful show at the DSO... It was our first time, so we weren't really sure what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was relaxed, the servers were kind and welcoming, the food and drinks were DELICIOUS, and the prices were reasonable. We chose their 'dinner for 2' special (x3, since there were 6 of us): chips and dip, 2 shareable small plates, and 6 à la carte tacos for $26 per person. There was a lot of food, and it was all very good!
Highly recommend if you're looking for creative, tasty food in stylish surroundings that doesn't break the bank.

Our second them visiting this restaurant, but it has been several years. Had a reservation for 4:15. Was about 7 minutes late due to an issue with parking. We were told when we arrived that the table was booked in one hour. It was a rude way to start our dinner. They shouldn’t accept so many reservations if they can only allow 1 hour. The waitress was friendly and efficient. Food was good- nothing super memorable though. Started with drinks and the salsa trio, which was just ok. The orange salsa was way too watery and the brown one seemed more like barbecue sauce. The fish taco was really good, but the shrimp one didn’t taste like shrimp. We weren’t offered dessert, so not sure if they even have a dessert menu. With all of the amazing restaurants in Detroit, I don’t know if I’d come back.
