Bangkok 96 at Detroit Shipping Company was both delicious and welcoming. Genevieve was at the front desk to take my order, and she was sincere in sharing her story as I was curious.Besides the service, the crispy fried chicken rice bowl and the spicy crab rangoons were addicting. I’ll definitely be coming here again. Thank you for the hospitality, Genevieve!!

The food at Bangkok 96 was so yum ?My wife had the grilled Salmon and Shirmp bowl and I got the Fried Shrimp bowl. Both of them were served with sticky rice and Veggies. We also got pork fried dumplings from Nepali Dumpling boot which also highly recommended.Overall, We enjoyed our American street food experience at Detroit Shipping Co.

We had the Crispy Shrimp bowl and the Salmon and curry shrimp bowl. Both were delicious, healthy portions and decently priced. Will definitely be back to order this again when I come in town.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The favors are balanced, texture and sticky rice texture is awesome, and the dishes are NUTRITIONALLY balanced meals with protein, starch, and veg.

First time visiting Detroit Shipping Company yesterday and Bangkok 96 Street Food gave my sister and I excellent service! My sister is gluten free and they had so many options for her. We used the machine to order quickly and realized we made a mistake. The sweet lady at the register, who I now know is the owner/head chef, corrected it with ease and care. It was all very delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

Ate there before the kesha concert. Not only was the food amazing and well priced, but my celiac husband was able to eat there with no reaction. Legit planning trips to detroit for this place. You guys are awesome!

I absolutely love this place. Not only is the food exceptional and reliable, but they use all-natural, high-quality chicken with no antibiotics and you can tell. I think it's the best chicken in Detroit. Also, the owner, Genevieve, is a wonderful person and is always so welcoming. Highly recommended.

This was a great Thai food experience, but I wasn't prepared for the different menus from Dearborn and Detroit. My husband and oldest daughter wanted to try the duck, but this wasn't an option in Detroit. I got crunchy chicken for my husband, which he thought was good. My two oldest shared the shrimp and salmon, which was a perfect size for two teen girls to share. They really enjoyed the dish. I had the panang curry ("chicken curry" or "yellow curry", tofu may have been an option as well), mildly spiced, and it was delicious! I had the papaya salad, and it was good. This was my first papaya salad, so I'll know what to expect in the future.I didn't get any rice with my curry, which was unfortunate, but my husband and kids gave me a fair amount of their rice and all of their broccoli, so I had a nice mix of foods to enjoy the sumptuous curry sauce. And now all the leftovers are mine! And mango rice, yes please! The 8 year old (my picky little Genevieve) didn't like it, but more for mom!The beeper system worked well at the Detroit shipping company location. If you are a fan of Thai food, it is definitely worth a taste, even though it's downtown Detroit. I think my tab for three entrees, the salad, and two sticky rice desserts was around $75. With the $10 for safe parking around the Detroit shipping company, it was less than we pay for pizza delivery and far less than we pay for sushi. My teens and Genevieve seem insatiably hungry for fish. It's far from where I live, but I'd like to try the Dearborn location sometime when I'm on the west side. I will definitely get some spring rolls next time! Chicken satay skewers have always been good for the kids at other Thai restaurants, so we'll try those if they're on the Dearborn menu.Thank you, Chef Genevieve!
