Katrina is absolutely amazing! We started talking outside. Before we knew it, she brought a table outside so we could hang out and drink some beers since the brewery across the street would not allow inside seating. The jams were so good that I purchased 4 before we left! We had such a great afternoon hanging out with her. Thank you!!!

Katrina is so amazing! she brought a table out because the weather was nice and there was nowhere to hang out. we had beers from the market, martinis she made with her jellies and some great conversation! I bought 4 more jellies to take home! Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

My hubby loved the sweet & spicy tomato preserves and the roasted tomato ketchup on his burger. He kept saying how awesome it tasted!! I love the mixed berry preserves. The owner is a wonderful person! Definitely will buy more!

Wonderful product, love the variety! The new owner is an absolute joy to talk to! Can't say enough good things. If you're nervous to try the more adventurous flavor combos- don't be :) they're very tastefully crafted

I love Beau Bien Fine Foods! I have been buying, eating and gifting their jarred jams and chutneys for years and I'm so excited there is a storefront now in Eastern Market. I couldn't think of a more appropriate spot for them. I love the care they put into their products and that the ingredients are locally sourced. I also appreciate the time and care placed into their ever-changing daily menu, which seems to be based on what the best ingredients available at the time are. I always find myself coveting whatever delicious item they've posted on their page as a lunch item of the day. My personal current favorites of their popular jams/preserves are the Plum Cardamom and Cherry Star Anise. They use a lower sugar recipe, so these aren't too sweet, which is a problem I have with many jams. If you are in or near Eastern Market and looking for a tasty thoughtful bite or something to add to your menu for the night, or a great Michigan-made gift for someone! Head to Beau Bien Fine Foods!

Looks quaint - opens at 11:00, at 11:40 with evidence of no business, no one - in fact hostess is distracted , " Do you have soup today? Yes, tomato, wonderful may I have a bowl to go? Yes - only they have no soup". The café is not ready for business. The small craft jars of jams and mustards are overpriced at $9.00 and $10.00 for 8 ounces.

This place is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is incredible and the food is divine. The menu changes weekly so there's always something new to try. They have a cafe along with a tasting room with delicious jams! We got the Brie and strawberry hibiscus jam on a baguette. I could've eaten the jam out of the jar. The soup of the day was a cold carrot and fennel gazpacho and had a silky texture with a burst of flavor. I will be back here again soon!
