BESA is the one place you have to eat at if you can only eat at one place in Detroit. The food, drinks, and guest service is top notch around this place. When you walk in you feel like a millionaire. Claire was our waitress for this night and it was one of the most pleasant nights possible. She took time to learn about us and ask questions about us. We also got to learn about her and enjoyed having a connection with her. My wife and I can't wait to come back to BESA again for another date night.

Absolutely terrible experience from start to finish. We waited 30 minutes for our table, there was no appropriate waiting area so we were in the way of others. They messed up our friends order - and were so chaotic trying to fix the mistake. We all asked for to-go boxes, and when we got home, none of our meals were in the boxes. I had 2 whole appetizers that weren’t eaten to bring home, and they gave me someone’s half eaten wagu burger.. absolutely terrible experience. Waitress (older lady) was completely scattering all over the restaurant, yelling at her colleagues. She spilled water on my friends back, and another time tried to refill my friends drink and took the glass right out of her hand while it was at her mouth… NEVER GO HERE

If you ever get the chance in your lifetime to come here you must be graced by Abby’s presence and hospitality. Ever since we walked in the door we experienced nothing but perfect hospitality and customer service. My sister and I were celebrating our 29th birthday with our husbands and my little sister. Abby’s service was exquisite and one of a kind. Her attention to detail was flawless and she made me feel like I was in michelin star restaurant. An asset to BESSA and I will be going back and recommending this experience to every person I know. The hostess was persistent and extraordinary. Smiles everywhere, I would pay double to have a birthday experience like this. She even wrote my sister and I a hand written birthday card. The food was perfect but the experience was jaw dropping. Thank you BESSA for everything.

Was here with my family for the first time and our server was claire.Everything we had was great,from the appetizers to the drinks.But most of all,it was claires AMAZING personality and warmth that made us have an even better time.She was knowledgable about everything on the menu and made our visit 100/10!!!!

The food was pretty good. Steak had to be sent back to be cooked a little longer. Everything else was pretty amazing! Our server was not very knowledgeable. Hard to hear her and didn't seem to really know the menu.
