The food was good and burnt (sarcastic). I ordered over the phone, I got there within 30 minutes and still had to wait another 30 minutes for my food. You have so many people working there that's standing around not doing anything (in each others way). One worker is on her phone doing absolutely nothing. The food is not bad, it was burnt.

We order regularly for work and have never been as disappointed as we are today. I ordered a $150 catering order for a very important work meeting and the salad trays arrived half full, we received no salad dressing, and the chicken bites tray was cold. I immediately called the restaurant and was told that unless I could bring back the trays, there was nothing they could do. I have a meeting going on! I can't just leave my meeting where people were expecting dinner to drive back to the restaurant so they could 'see' the order again! Completely disappointed and will not be ordering for work lunches or dinners ever again. It's very upsetting, because the food is GREAT, but the service and management is awful.

I’ve gone to other Bucharest locations but this was by far the worst experience. Didn’t stay to get my food because service and the atmosphere was awful. We waited 20 minutes and after watching people come in after us and get our food I decided to say something. We only ordered 2 shawarma with fries and the place was empty, but had a lot of staff. They were just wandering around lost with 0 sense of urgency or care for customer. I’ve run multiple tropical smoothie locations and you can tell this type of poor service/care comes from management. The ultimate decision was seeing back into the kitchen from the counter, it was incredibly disgusting. I’ll never go back to any Bucharest location, maybe come here for a beer but can’t imagine service will be any better. Definitely not authentic like it used to be and super trashy

In Detroit for 2 nights and was looking for a spot to eat around my hotel - luckily I found Bucharest through Google Maps. The food was really good - I got the salad with chicken shawarma - the portion was insane! I didn’t take a picture but there was so much chicken (and I got the “small” size) It was really tasty and juicy and with the side of garlic sauce it really hit my cravings. The bartender (I sat at the bar) was super nice, friendly and awesome yet respectful and in general everyone out here seemed really welcoming. Prices were very fair and affordable (got 2 drinks as well) Overall a very good and tasty experience and I’ll definitely come back here on my next visit to Detroit. Keep up the good work!

great place for wraps downtown, price is good, service can be slow… i think there are a lot of young people working there so they don’t have a lot patience or they just don’t care for clarifying questions about the menu, the time i wanted to ask about an item i felt that people wasn’t want to talk to me … do not order the side of hummus the amount is ridiculously small and there is not pita for you to eat the hummus with… basically get a wrap and don’t ask questions and you will be good

This was my first time to visit any of the Bucharest Grill locations. I got the Shwarma Box with chicken. It was a generous serving packed with great flavor. I was going to save 1/2 for later but it was so good, I ate the whole thing. They also have a good selection of local sodas. The prices are very reasonable making this a great value and perfect place to eat before attending a concert or game downtown Detroit.

so i come to this location often its WAS actually my favorite i stopped in last night for a couple drinks and to chill and for the 1st time the atmosphere SUCKED and I wasn't the only one who said it a few other people at the bar said so as well the music was TERRIBLE! people was asking for it to be changed but they wouldn't change it i don't know what changed about this location but y'all definitely need to change it back i've never seen this place empty as it was last night NOT THE VIBES

No Children menu. Ordered the shawarma sticks thinking it was chicken on a stick, like a skewer as substitute for my kids. It actually just another Shawarma sandwich just smaller covered in garlic sauce. Not mad, but should clarify that to people first. 🤔
