Best pizza ever, crunchy, juicy and tasty

The pizza’s amazing. The service is good, but weird that when you get your bill, they’ve already added on a 20% tip. I tip well anyway, but it was a bit presumptuous.

Perfect place for some food and drink before a Tiger’s game. Accommodates groups of all sizes. We got there about 11:10 am for a 1 pm game and it worked out great. Got into the game in plenty of time.

We tried the Margherita pizza and were surprised to see beetroot on it, but it turned out to be a delicious twist we really enjoyed. The staff was a bit rude, which was disappointing, but overall, it was a fun and tasty experience that we’d still recommend for the unique flavors!

Pizza here is amazing, good amount of cheese and enjoyed vegetarian 4sq pizza which was appropriately priced for a Restaurant in downtown.
The service felt little slow!
Admired the online payment portal but Gratuity (20%) without mentioning earlier even on a single serving felt in-appropriate and adding to this payment portal asks for Tip 🤷🏻.

Good pizza and wings. I loved my Vernors shake. Was expensive for pizza but at least it was good. Weird to get gratuity added with the wife and kid but I get it. Great service!

What an amazing place! We love pizza and have been all over Italy. The deep dish was delicious! There was a 90 minute wait when we arrived, but there was also a Pistons game the same day. There are a couple tables on the “takeout side” so we sat there, ordered a couple pizzas and Mac’n cheese, it was ready in 20 minutes!

Known for the best pizza Detroit style and they deliver. You should try it the next time you are in Detroit. The location by the Comerica Park is a good stop when exploring the city.

Went first thing Saturday afternoon and the pizza was great. I’m from out of town and I wanted Detroit style pizza and was not disappointed. I will say the beer out of the tap system was not good during my visit, it smelled and tasted off. We brought it up to the bartender and they said they would take a look but didn’t do anything while we were there.

Ah, the pizza chain with the giant varsity jacket of the D-Style. I finally got a chance to have my Buddy's experience, and out the gate, the pizza itself is good; just making it plain.

It's the archetype of the D-style, however, it's not as 'tall' in height as most D-style pizzas (kinda odd). Despite that, it is definitely one of the better pizzas I've had while in Detroit.

Now, the reason it gets 3-stars comes down to the coup de grâce of all restaurants: SERVICE. I had time to dine-in, so I was seated immediately, and the server was able to take my order right away, who was very helpful.

The table I was seated at had crumbs on the seat that I had to brush off, and the floor felt like there was sand covering it. Clearly the table had not been thoroughly cleaned, and that's never a good setup for a dining experience.

I went during the daytime (not busy at all), and the pizza took a solid 30 minutes to arrive. Luckily I had a bit of time, but 30 minutes for a D-Style pizza is insane (15-20 mins average). To their credit, they did have ginger beer (Goslings), which most pizza places seem not to have, so that was a shocker.

It also took me a while for my server to return so I can cash out, which is always exhausting.

They do have a carry-out side of the restaurant where you can get a slice much quicker, and when I came back, this was the more expedient option.

Dining in leaves you at the mercy of college and H.S kids in a chain restaurant that meander around making idle conversations near your table, while I witnessed other tables experience service lag for the same reasons.

The management needs to clamp down and raise the standard of service execution, or they need to make a change with management for efficiency reasons. The potential is there, but the expectations fall short.

If you want to try it, get it carry out or a slice to go, but dining in is a slow boat to China.
