We were visiting Detroit during a crazy cold storm and we still wanting to explore the downtown but needed a place to stop and warm up for a bit. Highly recommend stopped in this area during Christmas, all the lights brings all the vibes! We went during NFL playoffs so we caught the end of the holiday vibes in January! Cute spot!

Staff is either stoned or drunk, all seemed spaced out and bored. Very poor customer service throughout. Drinks are wayyy to expensive ($7 for a cup of black coffee???). They don't let you leave the premise with a drink so don't buy that $7 coffee thinking you can enjoy surrounding attractions.

Has a good concept, but overfilling filling cups with ice and filling it with premade gross drinks was just not worth the price or to even be there.

Very cute market, loved that it was free entry. I wish there were more vendors to browse.

Cute and cozy not enough seating and people stay seated for hours so you find yourself standing and it’s crowded, but you can get drinks or hot chocolate however you can NOT take it with you even if it’s non alcoholic drinks. The atmosphere looks cool though..

Bar was “out” of almost everything. Bartender literally didn’t say a word other than to tell us they were out of what we wanted. CLEARLY didn’t want to be there. Waited over 30 minutes in line for drinks. Bathrooms gross. Just very disappointed.

Beautifully decorated but the music was super loud to the point you couldn't hear anyone that well and I ended up leaving with a headache.Great to get out of the rain and cold though. The food was beyond average. $8.95 including tip for a hotdog that was super bland.I loved watching the artist draw ppl.

Beautiful downtown holiday space worth visiting. The atmosphere is so cozy. The decor is beautiful and the drinks were yummy and appropriately priced. It is very warm in there, so no need to bundle up extra.

Hard to believe you’re in the middle of Detroit! Fantastic rustic decor and atmosphere feels like party at friends house. About 25 evergreens lit up, many small shops with local talent displaying their goods, alcohol, tea, coffee and some food.Ps can’t take any food / drinks from tent (even if coffee).

I'm getting old. The price of Beer, it wasn't cheap. It was a nice atmosphere, my second year coming here for one night of the Christmas Season to see the tree. $8 for a 16oz Bud Light. The was the low end. It was warm in there, plenty of Tables out in the plastic tent. I've never been in the business itself, just the Christmas Tent.

I love to visit Cadillac Lodge when I visit Detroit in December. It puts me in the holiday mood. It's a cozy lodge near other festivities like a holiday market, giant tree and skating. It gets busy, so you may need to wait but the line for drinks moved quickly. I can't wait to go back again next year.

I've come to the Cadillac Lodge every holiday season for the past several years and each time I think I get a little bit more disappointed. First off, the decor remains the same each year, so it's just become a bit monotonous after a few years. Secondly, they have a capacity limit so if they're at capacity, you will be waiting outside for others to leave before you go in, which in and of itself is fine. My gripe is more with the fact that when you go in, the lodge is so packed, it's hard to find seating and incredibly overwhelming. I would recommend either more seating or set your capacity limit lower. I know this would mean probably a longer line during the busy times, but I think it would make for an overall better, more enjoyable experience for all once they get inside, making it overall more worth it. Just a suggestion! The couches and fun patio furniture are all super high quality and cozy. The food and drink selection is limited and overpriced, which is the other downside. I got a hot cider, my friends shared one of their alcoholic bevvies, but for the most part nothing else on their menu appealed to us, and I would honestly recommend you to just get a nice meal nearby as there are so many options in the area, ranging from fast casual all the way to fine dining. It's also important to note that you can take any of your drinks outside of the lodge. Alcoholic beverages, I can understand. But mine was a non-alcoholic hot cider and already in a to-go coffee cup and I wished there could be a distinction between the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as that it just a bizarre rule for the non-alcoholic ones when I would've really have liked to carry around a hot cider to warm my hands up while I was walking around Detroit. What might've been most mystifying were their list of holiday-themed shots! All of the names of the shots evoked a certain image of what might go into it, and it was always wildly different. For example, they had a shot called "Grinch Green Tea," but the ingredients in it were whiskey, peach schnapps, sour, and Sprite. Where's the tea?? Where's the green?? I'm confused lol.Overall, if you're in Cadillac Square checking out the shops, which is something I highly recommend, and even popping over to the Monroe Street Midway across from the square and need a place to duck into to warm up and get a bit of holiday cheer, I would recommend coming here. But I wouldn't recommend getting any of the food or honestly staying for all that long, because there is just a ton of other exciting things to be doing during the holiday season in downtown Detroit!
