First time in Michigan, and we stopped by this diner in Detroit while in town dealing with a death in the family. The last thing we expected was to be treated so rudely. On top of that, the food wasn’t even good. It was already a heavy trip, and this just made it worse. Never again.

A real gem. My plate had so much food, I couldn't see the bottom. Waitress and cook take pride in the place. This is a true diner: great prices and tasty food.

Diner breakfast, there's just something about a place that has darned near everything! And I chose everything, or at least it was the omelet that had everything in it - mushrooms and bacon and sausage and ham and onions and green pepper and tomatoes and cheese.
Warm service from a waitress who was quite busy but still managed to stay on top of things and refill coffee as needed. The restaurant itself was clean and quiet with a TV showing the local news.
This was not a cheap breakfast but it was a huge portion that it kept me going until dinner.

This is a very cool spot in Downtown Detroit, love that it's inside a historical building and close walk to some pretty cool stuff, the food was pretty good and affordable and staff were definitely on top of it! This diner truly felt like the Detroit experience
