The MOCAD Café is a relaxing and very chill café located directly inside the Museum of Contemporary Art. As expected, the space is designed thoughtfully and exudes relaxation. It has an urban-industrial feel with a touch of modernism. The big garage windows allow for plenty of natural light - when it's warm, they're open to allow a nice breeze. REALLY enjoyed myself here. I wasn't able to see the whole gallery but from what I did see it was really nice. They do ask for a small donation, which I was happy to give seeing I felt uplifted when I first walked inThe Café was nice. An open floor plan that connected right with the gallery and some good tunes playing over the speakers(not too loud though). I was able to enjoy the atmosphere and read a book before I was off exploring again. I will surely be back again!
Our company Holiday party was at MOCAD and it was quite enjoyable. Everything was nice from the bartenders to the catering staff. I also liked that you can freely roam around the museum and look at the exhibits. Pretty cool place.
