Josh was our mixologist and he was super friendly. Was incredibly enthusiastic about his craft and was very knowledgeable. The drinks were fantastic but Josh's customer service is what put the experience over the top.

I've been here twice and both times were so fun. I found the bartenders to be a delight. Our last bartender was knowledgeable about cocktails and made us things not on their menu. It is small but that's part of the charm. The lobby of the hotel is also a cool vibe so when people complain about sitting out there,I don't get it. I would only be annoyed being a hotel guest and NOT being able to sit in the lobby. The drinks aren't cheap but it's for sure a fun stop.

Decided to go to Candy Bar for my birthday. Left my camera and called back to see if anyone turned it in. They told me I could come get it the next day. Once I arrived to get my camera they told me it was on their log but now missing.Can yall just give me my camera back ?

The art deco era decor in luscious pink creates a gorgeous, intimate space with booths, small tables, and a bar.The cocktails are excellent—interesting, complex, and balanced, with a pleasing emphasis on being booze-forward. The bartenders excel in classics and on-the-spot customized creations inspired by your preferences.While the host is warm and goes above and beyond in accommodating, some bartenders lack the same. Nevertheless, their talent compensates for any shortfall in demeanour.

Wow! Wow! And …. Upside down MOM- WOW! I work at a craft cocktail bar in Charleston sc… and this is way above and beyond impressive! I have alot to learn! ?…I’ve been to Detroit prior and missed the opportunity to visit this place bc of my time schedule. Finally!!! I was able to get in and wow… I’ve never seen a better cocktail menu from Vegas, Miami to NY!! My bar my most favorite cocktail bar EVER!!! Josh was beyond entertaining and impressive! Wish we lived in Michigan because we’d come here over and over for the cocktails and experience! We didn’t want to leave! Best bar in Detroit or any city I’ve ever visited ??

There she goes is very good -tastes like a key lime pie, but could only have one (little sweet). A fine pear was pretty mediocre imo, contrary to a lot of other reviews. Espresso flip does not have espresso but was still very good, sweet, and tasted like pie. Very small inside but cozy atmosphere. Make a reservation- we did on Google

My cocktails were syrupy. No TV to watch the ball drop on New Years Eve. It took way too long to find a stage hook to pull the drunk, high fiving and F-bombing bartender out. Not the premium cocktail lounge I expected. The experience was laughable but sad. Too many other options in the ‘D’ for me!

Great for a date night as there’s not much room a group as the place is small.Drinks were good and strong the way I like them.Nice ambiance and very interesting location only about 5 blocks from the Skating rink in central downtown Detroit if you go in the winter during the holidays it will be beautiful.The candy bar is intimate sweet and cozy. For those looking to set a nice vibe it’s a great place to kick the night off.

Stopped in for a drink with some friends and had such a great time! The space is gorgeous, each room of the hotel the bar is in has a different vibe it's like stepping into a movie set almost. The There She Goes was by far our favorite drink, the Malibu infused whipped cream was to die for! Service was great, seating was comfy. It's definitely a small space so it's a bit cramped, be sure to make a reservation if you definitely want to get in.
