I had a pickup order for a cake and it’s already falling apart. The sides ain’t done properly. Sides look cracked and that’s happening in multiple places. On top of that, they messed up the writing and don’t have anyone in store to fix it. I paid $70 for this BS. I ordered becoz of all the good reviews but what a disappointment. This place is so overrated!!

I’m always impressed by the attention to detail in each of Canelles decadent treats. From their beautiful presentation, all the way to balancing out different textures and flavor profiles, this is my favorite place to get treats for special occasions!

Amazing. Absolutely one of my favorite bakeries anywhere. Quality is phenomenal and so is the selection. They even do breakfast sandwiches if you want savory. I love that they are open a little later but they make things fresh so they do start to sell out of things towards the end of the day. Whether you want savory, fruity, buttery, or chocolatey, you'll find it here! And the staff are as lovely as the food.

Today I drove in circles trying to find parking after I finally found the awesome little bakery, or so I thought it was, that I had been to last year that I couldn't find that I had also just drove in circles to find. So I go in there and I'm in a rush now but I'm being patient but the older woman at the cash egister took two other people's orders, right in front of me after i was standing there asking her to look at the bakery items with me so I could pick one out. Just looked right at her and said, wow, you're gonna take another person, right in front of me after I directly asked you to come, let me pick out an item and I just walked out but I'll never be back!!! How rude smh

Sat outside in the sunshine and couldn’t believe how beautiful Detroit felt — almost like a mini industrial Paris. My latte was perfect, the pastries were gorgeous, and the service came with a genuine smile. I could’ve stayed there all day. Can’t wait to go back.
