Worst bank institution I’ve ever used. No customer service at all. Locked up my account for five days and just gave me a sorry. That don’t cut it. Now they can’t even tell me where to deposit cash in my account. This bank account is not even an account.What’s in your wallet? Nothing that can get anything done.

I had a $10,000 credit limit. I had $3,864.39 in purchases. I paid off the full bill so I would have a zero balance. The next day I had a balance of $36.08. I asked what the charges were for and was told that it was for purchases that didn't make the previous cycle. When I went to pay it had grown to $102.74. I was told that it was for interest on the $36.08. More than 200% interest. I asked to have the interest removed and was denied even though I've never had a late fee or missed a payment. I payed the bill and canceled my card immediately. They told 3 different stories. 1st it was interest for charges that didn't make the February cycle. Then interest that didn't make the January cycle. Finally it was a late fee even though she admitted that I never recommend Capitol One Bank to anyone. They're crooks. a late fee in 14 years. I am on the fence with Capital one. One of my cards expired in November 2023. It says they will send a new card 4 weeks pryer to expiration. Never came. Sent numerous messages, said again on the way.I finally was able to talk to someone and they would expedite one for $50.00. Are you kidding me. I have to pay for Capital one's mistake. Wow!

Capital has gotten on my last nerve. All of their Agents give you different information on one question. I was charged a late fee for an automatic account because of $1.An agent told me on the phone after cancelling my automatic payment to call and make payment the following month, only for capital one to charge me late fee for what is not a late fee.When I called as usual they will tell you is nothing they can do above it.Horrible customer serviceHorrible supervisor (vivian)Horrible credit careHorrible interest chargeHorrible team members most I wonder if there is ever an orientation upon employment because the customer service don’t know what they are doing.All capital one cares about is late fee and interest charges.

Horrible identity verification. I had to have my identity verified in order to receive a new card after someone had stolen my original card. It has now been 2 months since the incident I have sent my id to capital one many times over the last several weeks and every time they find some reason for it to not be accepted. I just called again for the 29th time literally and was informed that my last fax was never received and that the copy I sent them through the mail was according to them "lost".
