Captain Jay's Fish & Chicken

Walked up to restaurant didn’t check food before I left. When I got home had 10 pieces of catfish only four pieces was good the other six was not fresh all of the meat was cooked from the inside hard and old. I called back spoke to manager they said they would replace could not walk back that night had to cook dinner after spending 30. Walked back the next day after complaining in a nice way saying I could only eat four pieces. I then ordered a ten piece catfish over the phone walked to pick it up they then took four pieces off the 10 piece and was ready to auger about it no I not going to bye Felicia. Bad Customer Service . You could have offered a small pop any thing.

Has good food and takes EBT which is a plus, but the place is barely big enough for 3 people to fit in and wait for their orders. They make good enough money to remodel and at least make room for the costomers

They have not missed yet. Never had to ask for fresh food and the wait is never long. Missed 2 wings out my order once and replaced it with 4. Literally won’t go to another chicken place.

I have events often and to make sure there's enough , I always order several large pans of chicken to go with the rest of the meal. I order ahead and it's always ready when I get there.

It's the hood

I don't like that you can only order fish while in person. Other than that I love Captain Jay's. I eat here at least 3 times a week

The food is excellent but when it comes for the people that is a little and needing help they used to help but now all of a sudden they are letting them starve now

Quality of the food served has gone down. Chicken wings are so small they look like pigeon wigs. Okra is fried too hard.

Don’t waste your time. They charge extra for everything. Bad attitudes. Skimpy food. Not worth it.
