This place was recommended to us by friends. We ordered many of their dishes. The food was OK, portions even for a Tapas meal were very small. The menus are nice with some nice assortment of dishes, but you will have to order way more than what you think. Service was very good and accommodating. Our server approached us before we were done with our food , did not get to the sweets yet and told us” the owner is telling you that you are over your time” !!! Couple minutes later server came to apologize. This was a bad act of the owner!! We ordered couple Cappuccino and desserts, The desserts were very good and very tasty, both Cappuccinos were cold! We left couple of hundreds of dollars at this restaurant and we left with a unhappy experience.

A new friend and i decided to walk here looking for a wine spot - well we don't we hit the jackpot but it was more of MEH vibe. What we found out is this place is more for DRY drinkers - very limited with sweet options. They did have a food available but we opt'd out. Server was very attentive with the mild crowd but having the knowledge on the wine seemed limited.ok vibe - only thing i wasn't pleased about when he don't check in the middle of conversation and walked away; we didn't know they closed at 11pm so maybe that was reason for the oddness at the end. Then not being informed there's a "20% living fee" attached to the bill around - so i ended up tipping twice. My fault for not reading everything.Would I come back? Probably not! Happy drinking!!!

This is one of my fav Spanish places, and I have eaten Spanish food IN Spain! This is a great place for a nice round of snacks with friends before a concert, or just in general. I can safely recommend most things on the menu ;)

Really terrific ambience, and a great location in the Midtown district of Detroit. A nice tapas bar with a tremendous staff, including Lucas behind the bar. He made the visit special for us. If you're into the garlic, the garlic shrimp dish is enough to choke a vampire.

My husband and I went here right before we saw Hamilton. We sat to the left, in the wine area. The server was ...there...that was about it. They add a COST OF LIVING, which is a 20% tip to your bill. They also add a 4% cost if you are using a credit card. NEITHER of these extra costs are printed on the menu or told to you in advance!! I also examined more of our bill, and the server had put another person's bottle of wine on our tab. This was spotted after we paid with our credit card. When I presented it to the bartender to have removed, no apology was made. This was our experience. No opinion was added, just facts. IMO: If you can't pay your workers the cost of living, don't leave it up to customers. Will not be returning.

The food, service, and atmosphere until the bill came were great. But I write this to give future customers a heads-up that there's a 3% "processing fee" that's not on the menu or anywhere else I could see. And the (otherwise excellent) waitstaff was not prepared to handle this -- management's fault. There's actually another larger charge the restaurant doesn't mention up front: a 20% "living wage charge" in place of a tip. But I find tipping a terrible system so this concerns me less; I have worked as a waiter! (I was only a party of two; I was not with a large party where a required gratuity is normal.) When I asked what the processing fee was, the waiter wrongly said it was was on the menu. He then said that rather than ask the general manager to remove the fee, he'd just pay it himself. He added that I wouldn't be able to avoid the fee in the future. I Googled later and confirmed that Michigan law doesn't allow restaurants to charge undisclosed credit-card processing fees. Also businesses can't charge fees for debit-card payments in any state. I had a debit card and cash, although unfortunately I didn't think of this and the waiter didn't suggest it.

Some foods were delicious like the shrimp, and some were average like the Patatas. Pricey but the added 23% for non food charges made tipping confusing. Considering the fact it is "small Plates" not sure why all of it cost more than a "normal Meal" and a 23% tip/service charge/ processing fee is added. I guess it is a Detroit thing. If a "Living Wage" is automatically added, why is the food so expensive? Doesn't food pricing already include the cost of labor? I was not happy!

Run here!! Their small plates are amazing, I had one of my favorite meals...ever... here! We got the calamar a la parilla, calamares fritos, gambas al aijillo, and steak con mojo. The calamar a la parilla is the best thing hands down. It was grilled to perfection, the texture was the right kind of bite, and the aioli paired with it perfectly, after trying we immediately ordered a second. The shrimp is also super good with a great spice balance, and a tasty sauce that is worth every dip into it. Their wine selection is also so vast it's great, the staff was super friendly, and the food came out very fast even though they were packed on a Friday night. I can't recommend this place enough!

Soooo this place is literally just La Feria? We were super excited to try this cool Spanish wine bar, but when we got here we realized it's literally just another room next to La Feria. You can get all of the same food and drinks at both places, so why on earth does this business even exist? Why is the whole place not just La Feria? I don't understand. (La Feria is a five star establishment for sure though, so I figured three stars for this weirdness was reasonable?)
