The smash burger here is craazy good! So rich. I don’t really even eat meat and this blew me away… I also got a “small” sweet potato bisque with a side caesar salad and truffle fries. Outstanding, all of it. It’s also a beautiful, chill atmosphere and the wait stuff (ty Brandon) are top top tier

Brandon was my server and he was absolutely wonderful. My girlfriends and I are all Scorpio’s and go out for a birthday celebration. We decided on Central Kitchen (none of us had been there before) and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the drinks were fantastic, and the service was bar none! Thank you for giving us such a wonderful way to celebrate our birthdays! Thank you Brandon for making it extra special!

I've heard so much about this place, working next door and decided to pop in. I was greeted and served by JoAnn (don't know the spelling I apologize) but she deserves a raise. From the vibe, to the recommendations to the service, she made it one of the most pleasant dining experiences I've ever had. The whipped ricotta is to die for and def will be back!

The place was a little loud for our taste; we made reservations online and the place was on bump before 1pm for Sunday brunch. Brandon, our server, was knowledgeable and attentive, and Elle, the manager, was accommodating and kind. The food was great especially the tres leche french toast and the chicken and waffles. For our anniversary, we were blessed with a piece of carrot cake. It was scrumptious—sweet and light. The cream cheese frosting reminded me of a Cinnabon but it was soaked in a sweet liqueur.

I was married on belle isle yesterday with an intimate, small group of family. We wanted a nice spot to all get together and have dinner before we departed for the evening. My sister hit the jackpot when she found this spot. We had a group of 16 and when I tell you I've been nowhere near as accommodating as this place was, I'm screaming it from the rooftops. Service; exceptional, food; exceptional, atmosphere; spot on! They also knew that my birthday was the next day and came out with ice cream and candles. I have never been to such a great establishment. From management to waitstaff, keep it up. Id gladly spend $800 this time and next.

We stopped in Central Kitchen + Bar this past Sunday, 9/21, for brunch before the Tigers Game. What a fantastic experience! We were greeted so kindly and had the pleasure of Brandon serving us. He gave us many menu recommendations and checked on us continually. The atmosphere of the restaurant was “elegant and fun!” We’ll be back the next time we visit Detroit. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!
Chef Christina has created a delicious carrot cake that is a complete new take on carrot cake. The cake is moist and served warm which makes the frosting melt in your mouth. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Dre knows his craft, but what stands out most is the immense heart behind it. From the moment he serves you, he honors your need in a way that feels personal, not transactional. He notices the small things, creates a sense of care that feels genuine, and leaves you with an experience that stays long after you’ve gone. His skill is tremendous, but it’s his presence and heart that make him, without question, the best.
