Food is great, service is great, waitstaff is friendly, price kinda high but its inside the airport.** No more Champps at the North Terminal. There was a Mods Pizza where Champps used to be across from gate D8 North Terminal, but sincerely I do not know if that even exits nowadays since I don't work at the airport anymore thanks to the Covid-19 Pandenmic. 08/02/2021

Good option for waiting your next flight.

Food was decent. Nice interior but felt closed off from the airport. Server was abrupt but okay.

Nice place, but the waitress dropped spinach dip on my back (which got all over my shirt) and didn't even offer to provide any compensation (she did apologize though). It was a lot, and I didn't complain, but it would've been professional to at least be offered something as a gesture. Otherwise, everything else was ok.

Hello the drop down wouldn't let me select the correct location. I went to your Champps location in DTW - Detroit Metro Airport on 12/20/18 at around 5 pm. Regrettably I don't have the receipt as I left it under the payment and tip. Anyways, I ordered the chili nachos and chicken quesadilla. We got to our hotel at around 1am and slept around 3am. During 3-7am I had a lot of gas (flatulence). Then around 7 I woke up with the strong urgency to "go". I had a serious case of diarrhea. I kept waking up between 7 am to 10 am with diarrhea and at one point was so nauseated that I vomited. What I am trying to say is that I believe I got sick or food poisoning while dining at your restaurant. Please check to see if your kitchen is clean and your products good. I am highly discouraged from my experience and am still feeling tired and weak even until 12/22. I still feel the urgency to go though when I do, nothing happens. I am a highly dissatisfied and concerned citizen. We had traveled to Florida to make it to a wedding and one of the functions was yesterday, 12/21, and I was definitely feeling under the weather. How are you going to make it up to me? Oh another detail, the waiter who served us was a chubbier Caucasian man and it took like forever for the food to get to us, but it was clearly the dinner rush hour the time we were there. What's going on Champps?

I had the pepper jack bacon burger. It came out pretty quick and was nice size and tasted good. The hostesses were not that friendly though.

Great food. Reasonable prices for an airport. Big portions. I recommend the mexican quesadilla.

Took them almost an hour to serve us, we had to cancel half the dishes we ordered and the ones we got were not even what we ordered. Philly cheese steak tasted okay though.

I echo what most of the other reviews have said, this place has mediocre food and horrible service, server Brandon in particular. I walked in to order take out, after being ignored for awhile, I spoke up to one of the servers, Brandon. He seemed annoyed and responded "it would be a minute". Ok, that "minute" had turned into 10mins or more. Finally, he took my order in a very unwilling and rushed fashion and told me it would take half an hour for food to be ready. I said no problem. He handed me the credit card receipt to sign but didn't wait for me to sign it before walking away. I signed it and placed it by the register. Later on, my daughter showed up and wanted to order more food. I approached Brandon again to order but first thing he said "you didn't sign your first receipt, did you?", sounded very accusatory. I explained what I did and he didn't bother to look and asked me to resign another copy, bothered by my question of being charge double. I left and returned in half an hour, he handed me my food without saying a word. Well, luckily I checked the contents in the bags before boarded my plane, items were missing and my husband's veggie burger had turned into a turkey burger! I returned to show Brandon, he grabbed the bag from me without any apology. Unbelievable! He turned me over to a manager, who was slightly nicer but still no apology but again blamed me of something "oh, the food was ready for awhile for you to pick up", WTF? These people should not be in the service industry!

Bad service. Maybe it's because I'm in my 20s and they don't care about making a good impression. I wanted to order a quick takeout dish and it was extremely difficult to get a server to take my order. I understand you're busy but it really doesn't take much to say "I'll be with you in one minute." Instead I got pushed around various servers how looked annoyed at my presence. Not a fan but the food was alright.

Awesome Airport Restaurant. We had loaded nachos and they were way to much for 2 of us 2 eat. I was very happy with the waitstaff and quality of the food. I'd definitely return to this place

Walked in and even though the waitress saw us and made eye contact , she didn't come and talk to us to see what we needed until my husband approached her. She was then short with us. We left and went down to Hockey Town where we were greeted warmly and treated like customers!

Go for the breakfast. Everything is fresh and tasty including fresh whole eggs for a scramble or omelette. I was surprised at the overall low ratings as our experience was wonderful. I looked over the reviews and see there were def some "misses" but we had a great experience.

The fish sandwich (see pic) is a total grease bomb presented in the classic IDGAF tradition of crappy airport restaurants everywhere. Avoid unless starving. Even then - consider it twice. Then the manager comes by, asks if everything is ok. My response is a headshake and enthusiastic "No". His response? A smile and thumbs up? WTH? When ringing out (without a bite taken) he comes by again and asks if I want a box! To which I say "Hell no!" He then says, "Whats the matter?" I reply "Look at it." To which he smiles and says, "Looks like its been sitting out a while." Ok wow! I dont expect much from airport chains, but this, this is a new all time low.
