I went to the downtown location for the 1st time tonight. I usually go to Midtown. Tonighta food was absolutely horrible. Its usually fantastic. We ordered Goat Vindaloo and they didn't put any rice in the bag. I specifically ordered the Chickn Dum Biryani which says it's boneless meat and fried. They gave me bone in chicken that was extremely dry a d flavorless. To make matters worse it was a drum and thigh that was dried out. The biryani had no flavor which is just unheard of. I'm so disappointed especially for the price. Also ordered a fried fish appetizer that looked pretty but was also lacking flavor. Indian cuisine with no flavor is a damn crime!

The two young ladies working the front and running food were super helpful, but I forget their names. We ordered a chana masala and an aloo gobi there that were done perfectly. I can be a difficult customer as a vegan, but they knew what all could be done without ghee or paneer and let me know the roti could be done vegan and the rice was safe, but I should avoid the naan.We ordered two entrees and both got stuffed and still had leftovers, so the portion sizes are great. Will be returning next time I'm hungry around downtown.Also, nice views from the front window with some great people watching.Dietary restrictions: I'm vegan and they had a lot of options and knew what all could be done without ghee or paneer.
Food was amazing! Great vegetarian options. Mango drink and hot tea was delicious. Service was on point! The lovely lady that helped me was very friendly and gracious! Very clean and great experience all around! Eat here!

I'm so glad we came across this restaurant. It is some of the best Indian food I've had since moving to the Detroit metro area. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala, and I also ordered an Aloo Paratha. That was definitely a serves 2 meal as the portion sizes are generous, and you also get a good amount of sauce with great flavor to soak up with your rice or bread. The young lady at the counter was very helpful and cheerful and provided great service. We will definitely be back.

This is my first time eating Indian food and I really love it, the portions of the food are very big and the flavor is amazing, the lady at the register gave me very good recommendations on what to order, and I really like it, also I love that you can choose the level of the spicy, I can’t wait to go again.
