Most chik fil a restaurants are nice and friendly, not here. The cashier was super rude. Never said hi to anyone. Never said thank you. They were out of OJ and some type of coffee and they never apologized and even acted rude about it. Just not the normal chik fil an experience and I don’t know why you would be so rude to all of your customers. The person being really rude appeared to be the manager.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Your employee Harold, made my daughter cry! She is a young girl, traveling alone for the first time, so already nervous, and he had the audacity to be so rude to her. She was trying to order chicken strips like she does back at home and Harold tells her "Do you see that on the menu? Use your eyes and order something that's actually there" with a real mean and rude tone! I do not appreciate my daughter being ridiculed by your employee! That type of treatment is absolutely uncalled for. I did try to call your location to speak to a manager but it just rings and then sends me to a voicemail that is full and can not leave a message.

When my wife and I passed through DTW airport on 7 Feb 2024, we noticed that this airport had a Chick-fil-A. We contemplated eating here on that day, but opted for another restaurant since I wanted to try something different/new. We didn't want to pass up Chick-fil-A during this segment of our travels so we made it a point to eat here on 10 Feb 2024 because we had a little over an hour layover at DTW airport, not to mention, we didn't want to starve ourselves for the next 4 hours before arriving home in Las Vegas, Nevada.As with most Chick-fil-A restaurants, there's always a decent amount of people in line, whether in the restaurant, or in some cases, the drive-thru...and this restaurant was no exception to that normalcy. But just like all Chick-fil-A franchises, the line moves pretty fast and the employees are very friendly/efficient (something that other big name franchise restaurants are lacking these days). We ordered two Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Grilled Chicken Nuggets, Waffle Fries, and Mac & Cheese, and just like always, everything tasted scrumptious. The prices here are the typical Chick-fil-A prices, plus the standard airport increase...which in my opinion is adequate.There are two significant things about this Chick-fil-A that I noticed: (1) The restaurant's owner actually replies back to customer's reviews. I have NEVER seen this occur at any other Chick-fil-A restaurants that I've experienced in this country, so my hats off to this restaurant's owner for taking the time to respond to people's Google reviews; both positive and negative; and (2) this restaurant supports the men and women in the Armed Forces and its Veterans by giving a discount on their meals. All the Chick-fil-A restaurants I've been to in my life do not offer a discount to current or previous uniform wearers, so this is highly commendable and appreciated.Unless you don't have a Chick-fil-A in your hometown or you've never traveled outside of your hometown, I don't think there's a person in this country that hasn't been to a Chick-fil-A. So for those that have never been to Chick-fil-A, you definitely need to stop here, especially if you have a long layover. For those that have been to Chick-fil-A, well, you should know the drill - get it as fast as you can. I don't normally rate Chick-fil-A restaurants 5-stars across the board, but since this one is unique in many ways, the result is unparalleled. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Wow i’ve never witnessed this type of racism personally But what I saw from the staff of this Chick-fil-A today disgusted me incredibly rude and unwilling to assist a customer because of their ethnic background. I thought our society was past this type of stuff but I guess in inner parts of the US it’s alive and thriving. This type of behavior makes me embarrassed to be in an American.

Let’s get something straight - This is a freaking airport - get your hustle on or get out of this location and go work in sleepy town USA - it’s the morning and we got 22 people in line - 2 people on register - a Mgr that is quite possibly 1 breath away from falling asleep she is working so slow?? I had to step out of line because I waited 12 minutes and never got to place my order? Rename this location “Slow Motion Circus”
Typical airport quality. Quickest service I have ever had at this chain. Food is always fresh though bun is never heated. Cheese didn't melt either. Fries were hot.
