The barista did not have common grace could not have looked more irritated to be present at work today.

I will say that the baristas did a great job despite the long line. But my flavored latte was over $8?! I know it's the airport but come on guys. And I couldn't taste the lavender syrup at all, even though I saw the baristas pump it in. Definitely not worth the money, I'll just grab a latte from McDonald's next time.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this coffee shop wasn’t great. The coffee tasted watered down. The muffin was good but went there for a pick me up before our flight back to California. Other than that the shop itself was very clean and tidy. The customer service was just ok. Hopefully they can train better baristas!

One of The laziest employees I’ve ever seen. Walked in at 745pm and the lady was sitting on a chair behind the counter on an Face-Time call and said “ were closed.” Then continued to laugh at her phone. It’s very irritating seeing people take advantage of their employers. Getting paid for doing nothing. It’s disgusting

Limited time at the airport at 5:15am and waited 10 minutes just to be told that there is no food available. Didn’t gave enough time for anything else. Can we please highlight what is actually available?
Out of many food items at 8:45 AM. Coffee is okay. Service, meh.

Extremely rude server behind the counter - no reason - there was no line. We just walked away.

TERRIBLE SERVICE . The girl was barely up, nasty attitude, and barely would speak up. Also didn’t give me my correct change. Stay closed if you don’t have proper workers or sandwiches at 5am.

I wanted to give a shot to somewhere other than Starbucks, but there’s a reason they say stick to what you know. Not only is the coffee and sandwich extremely mediocre for the cost, but the customer service was awful. The person who I assume was the manager was going in on the other employee and openly criticizing her in front of everybody. The other employee did not deserve it, even though she also did not seem to want any customers. I neeed to get better at reading reviews before I try new places.

Bad experience. I tried to get coffee to relax before my flight ended up getting stressed by the employee working there. She looks angry and non welcoming to say the least. 2 customers ahead of me in the line left after waiting because how unwelcoming and angrt the woman working there looked. They also don't have decaff coffee other than expresso coffee only. I would not recommend this place as long that woman still work there. After waiting for my order it got forgotten about and she asked me again what was my order to make it. I rarely write reviews but my experience was very bad.

I am a picky eater and after seeing some reviews here I went in with low expectations but much to my surprise I walked away happy and exceptionally satisfied. The food and coffee were good but it's the level of service that set it apart from the other airport options. I can guarantee that Mimi was not working the days that any of the less positive reviews were written. She not only showed a high level of control of her environment when multitasking and problem solving, she also did so politely and with grace. I hope the owners recognize her value and talent. Sadly experiences like the one I just enjoyed seem increasingly rare. Bravo, well done Mimi!
I typically like mom and Pop style coffee shops, and try to avoid Starbucks. Figured I’d give this place to try. Nice looking storefront. I was the only one in line. Two customers were waiting on food. Only one person working in the place. I stood there for five minutes no “hello”, “I’ll be with you in a minute”, no acknowledgment. I walked away.
I fly through Detroit all the time and finally arrived with enough time to grab a coffee.
This place will be out of business when their lease is up or they find someone else to take over. Management/ownership must make changes.
2 Starbucks in the terminal. Slightly better service.

You’re better off going to McDonalds across from this if you want a coffee.

I asked if a traditional macchiato was available and the employee said yes. I asked for 2- double espresso macchiatos and was charged 4.75 for each plus 3 and change for the extra shot. Last time I checked, a macchiato is usually a double shot with the foam.
Total was $15 for 2 drinks. Absurd for the service and quality.
Over 15 min wait for drinks.
