My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. Lovely setting but spent $200 on our group’s drinks to be asked to move twice from our seats because they were “reserved for people dining”, which is fine but no one ever sat down to be served food in those seats while we were there. Not planning on going back as plenty of good places to visit in the area.
We celebrated our August wedding anniversary at Coriander, and were delighted! We sat in the Greenhouse, the view was great, loved the decor. Our server was friendly and helpful, everyone was so kind. Loved the drinks Thad made, our meals, Rainbow Trout and Shrimp Boil were excellent. My guy enjoyed the peach cobbler for dessert, the cookies were delicious as well. As native Detroiters, we are thrilled with this venue, and will be back!

The atmosphere features lots of lush flowers and plants, enhancing the overall relaxed vibe. Vegetarian dishes are labeled and abundant, making it a welcoming place for everyone.
