A Memorable Gourmet Experience at Chef Paul's RestaurantRating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️My fiancé Jennifer and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chef Paul's Grosz restaurant, and I must say, it was an unforgettable culinary experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that set the tone for the evening. One of the highlights of our evening was the opportunity to meet Chef Paul himself. His passion for cooking was evident in every dish that graced our table. Jennifer opted for the scallops, and she was blown away by the delicate flavors and perfect sear of the dish. As for me, I indulged in the lamb chops, and they were simply divine. The meat was tender, succulent, and expertly seasoned. We started our meal with a selection of appetizers, each one more delectable than the last. The presentation was impeccable, and the flavors were harmoniously balanced. The attention to detail in every dish was truly remarkable. To complement our meal, we enjoyed a couple of expertly crafted cocktails. The mixology skills of the bartenders were commendable, and the drinks were a perfect blend of creativity and flavor.Throughout our dining experience, the staff demonstrated exceptional knowledge and attentiveness. They were attentive to our needs and provided insightful recommendations, making us feel like valued guests.Chef Paul's restaurant is a culinary gem that deserves every bit of praise it receives. From the impeccable service to the outstanding food quality, every aspect of our evening surpassed our expectations. We left feeling not only satisfied but also inspired by the artistry and expertise displayed in each dish.If you are seeking a dining experience that combines exceptional flavors, impeccable service, and a warm and inviting atmosphere, look no further than Chef Paul's restaurant. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates the finest in gourmet cuisine.Thank you, Chef Paul, for an unforgettable evening. We cannot wait to return and explore more of your culinary masterpieces.

Can't even rate the food. Sat for 10 minutes before anyone approached our table. When one finally showed up she offered water and was sporting a Trump bracelet. No matter how I feel about politics, not appropriate for a fine dining establishment. Water took another 5 minutes then a different person asked about drinks. Ordered a bottle of wine, he brought wrong wine, by a long shot! No one asked about food, it was the theater menu only so it wasn't a difficult choice. So after sitting for 20 minutes we left.I believe the food is spectacular but the front of the house is very poorly run amd managed. We won't return.

First off, Cuisine's cuisine is outstanding. This was our first time here and we will certainly return just NOT on a night where there is an event at the Fisher Theatre (we did have tickets). And it's not about the limited menu (I get that and we had excellent selections to choose from), it's just that it all seemed way too rushed. Maybe that's management's way of making sure no one missed the event opening, which is understandable (our event had a 25 minute seating delay if you missed the opening), but we booked our reservation at 2 hours and 15 minutes prior to start time so as not to have to worry about being rushed. I also thought (incorrectly) that booking so early we might get access to the full menu (nope). And I didn't get the sense that they were trying to turn our table to get another party in. The whole vibe just seemed a bit frantic. So if you don't mind feeling rushed, do go here on an event night. However, if the rest of the menu is as wonderful as the limited pre-fix, I'd highly recommend going when the Fisher is dark.

Outstanding meal and service last night before the Fisher Theatre. Wow! A wonderful Prixe fixe menu with a delicious first course fattoush with smoked salmon, 2nd course of yummy walleye with delicious accompaniments and a perfect dessert served by our terrific server, Allison. I loved that they had 2 mock tails on their menu. The restaurant looked beautiful and was stellar all around. Been there many times and it was honestly, my 2nd choice last night. It will be among my top choices from now on!

Not welcoming to single diners. Was told singles sit at the bar even With a reservation. Steve, my waitperson made up for what started badly. He was professional, knowledgeable and sat me in the dining room. The food was ok. The lobster croquette was delicious as was dessert. The halibut was overcooked and dry but the leek risotto was was delicious. Will not dine there again but glad I tried it

Had the Valentine’s Day tasting menu and was really disappointed. I made a reservation for the dining room but they moved us upstairs without asking and had completely changed the tasting menu from when I first booked the reservation, including removing one of the courses and increasing the prices for some dishes. Food itself was okay but over-salted and overpriced for what you’re getting. Service was also mediocre, although they may have just been overwhelmed and understaffed that night. Not as important, but the decor is completely outdated and tacky. It’s almost ironically charming at first but really it’s just embarrassing. I don’t mean to be mean and maybe it was just a bad night but if you’re going to charge these prices and attempt to offer an upscale dining experience, you have to do better. There are a lot of better fine dining options in the city.

This was such a great find! We went for a Valentine's Day date and despite it being such a busy/stressful day for restaurants, we received great service. From the time we walked up to the cute blue house, we felt the cozy, home-y vibes. The menu was a multi-course selection prepared specially for the holiday and was amazing. The sous vide beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection. Seriously, it is so difficult to find a true medium-rare and this hit the nail on the head. We also ordered the tuna tartare appetizer and a crab soup we were still talking about the next day! Even the desert was great and creative. Everyone was also sent home with scones just as an added touch. We're looking forward to our next trip here.

We were seeing a play at the Fisher Theater. Cuisine is directly across the street from the theater. We did not have a reservation, and the restaurant was very accommodating. There was a special menu for the play, so we weren't able to get the full effect. The service was great. Most of the patrons were attending the play. The food was okay. I would be willing to give it another try with the full menu. We parked in the theater's parking lot and walked across the street.

GREAT FOOD, Service…ehhhh.First, Our table was in a terrible spot due to being SO incredibly close to the table next to us that no conversation went unheard for either party and the other side was the server station again so close that I had to literally lean out of the way every single time someone walked by or risk taking a hip to the shoulder or elbowing someone in the leg and all of that was punctuated by the loud and never ending clang clang clang of silverware constantly being rattled right there. I get it it’s a server station I just don’t wanna be right next to it. Our 7:45 reservation was sat at 8:05 after a fruitless wait in the bar to order drinks from a bartender determined to wash every piece of dishes and counters before serving the 4 and counting couples piling up. Finally at our table we were very excited for what was sure to be incredible food. That did not disappoint. All the food was incredible! Our only complaint was the caviar portion was frankly offensive (1/2 tsp at BEST?! Really?) and it was served on a tiny potato cake that was ICE COLD!! Besides that every bite of everything was phenomenal. But here’s the thing, as someone with an extremely extensive background in fine dining, people will forgot great food all day long over poor service. The maitre d was great! Nice, attentive and was always doing something to ensure a smooth service. The female hostess had the worst phone etiquette, never smiled and looked miserable to be there. Our server…wasn’t bad but he wasn’t great. Exactly what you’d expect at an Outback Steakhouse. He Talked so fast we could never understand him, he was so rushed….I guess? That his total time at our table I would bet money was less than 2min the whole night. My husband tried to surprise me with birthday candles for our dessert course, but he forgot them. Call me crazy but a $400 tab for 2 people should come standard with exceptional service. People can get good, even great food for WAY less. “Fine dining” cost a lot bc the service is as important as the food. I don’t need to be treated like the Queen of England but for that kind of money i want to be more important than an Outback Steakhouse guest. 3 stars but a strong 3. Will happily recommend to others but hope they have a better service experience.

Exquisite is the only appropriate adjective. I have eaten at almost every significant dining experience in metro Detroit and this is the best. Nothing comes close. Every flavor. Every texture. You are immersed in the very best flavor of every dish you order. Japanese Wagyu is unbelievable. It is the very best steak I have ever had6in in my entire life. The mushrooms and potato cake that come with are nothing less than perfect. The scallops are world class. I have no idea how they can be so delicious. And literally every dish is prepared to perfection. There simply is no better restaurant in Detroit.

We had an excellent time here. We had the A5 Wagyu and the Scallops, both cooked perfectly. Our service was even better than the food, Steven was our server and made our first time experience memorable!
