This was my second venture. I must admit it was maybe 2-3years between the first experience and now the second trip, so unfortunately I can't recall my experience the 1st go round. I want to rate this location now while it's fresh on my mind and because I would hate for someone searching for good ribs to be disappointed. Seeing as though you smell and see the grill smoking you would think that the ribs would be finger licking, nope not at all the ribs taste as though they are cooked in the oven then nuked and sauced then grilled (reason for that great aroma in the air)these ribs are first off danish style and not barbqued as you would expect. Not happy and will not be returning. My loss was a total of $15.

We love hanging out. Yesterday we came to this delicious restaurant which friends recommended to us. We enjoyed a lovely evening there with exceptional meal and a courteous stuff and a professional cuisine. We put this venue in our phone list and we will no doubt come back very soon. they sale old food' they're not clean' dishes dirty' they dont wash there meat off before they cook it and serve it ..wouldnt recommend this place to no one..

Drove here from hazel park in a snow storm just for the business to be closed. Idk if the establishment is no longer open or if the hours on here are just wrong.

I admire this spot! They provide awesome food, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that spot is very trained, I like a lot tasting all their dishes. The dishes are always tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is very good too. I frequently visit this restaurant and I not even once was unsatisfied. I highly recommend it.

Drove by this place a couple of times decided to give them a try. I order the shrimp with a side of yams and macaroni and cheese. The shrimp was horrific there passing of supermarket frozen boxed shrimp as regular shrimp big disappointment. The yams and Mac was pretty ok but did not save the meal for the price that was paid. There is no carry out menu and was told to take a picture of the menu that was on the wall. Poor customer service will not return and would not recommend this place.

First, I would like to say the counter staff were very friendly, they served my meal in reasonable time, and little hassle. The problem is they seemed to be going through some major renovations from a possible fire. I truly hope that was the case. I ordered a large order of gumbo that was tasty, but unfortunately ice cold. And the half order of ribs...well let's just say they were at least warm....

I dont eat soul food outside of home however the smoke taste in my rib tips HE NAILED IT.. TRY IT OUT! n My Partner has been looking for the closest taste to Louisiana gumbo n now he has found it great food

WENT THERE ONE TIME AND THAT WAS ENOUGH! WATERED DOWN GREENS--FLIES IN THE CARRYOUT, MEAT WAS TOUGH. WORST BBQ I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!
