We had DelRay out yesterday evening for our backyard wedding party. Collin was awesome with being in contact and giving recommendations of menu options. Day of, they made sure everything went over smoothly & were great with our friends and family. Everyone, including ourselves were raving about the food. The brisket, potato salad, and mac & cheese were a hit! I would highly recommend them for any event or party, we had a great experience.
Delray..We thank you for your service ..Everything was delicious ?
Hands down the best Barbecue I've ever had! The meat was so tender and juicy, very flavorful. The Mac and cheese was seasoned well and the noodles cooked perfectly. The coleslaw had amazing flavor and was fresh and crunchy, same for the pickles too! Collin was a gem to talk to and gave excellent customer service. You get incredible food for a great price. Would definitely recommend!
Best pulled pork and baked beans I've ever had. The only baked beans I've ever truly loved. Wow.I also heard rave reviews for their vegetarian option, just from the local chatter, but haven't tried that yet.
This is easily one of, if not the best meal I’ve ever eaten. I cannot recommend this place enough! I loved the service here and the cook was so friendly with the guests and always takes care to offer the best quality! I also super appreciate the cleanliness as well as how well prepared the meal was. Fair warning: The marriage between the pulled pork & Mac & cheese will make more than your mouth water?… just trust me on this! Can’t wait for them to cater my next big event! I’m confident these guys would rock it!
Not bad food and prices seem a little high for what we got. My low score goes toward how unpleasant the window staff were. It absolutely blows my mind how you’d want to be so short and rude with guests when your entire business depends on it. I’m very involved with the service industry and the staff we encountered were nothing less than annoyed with dealing with me.
Delray BBQ - What a wonderful surprise! It has been a long time since my last visit downtown and I was craving Motz sliders, but as I got closer, I saw that Motz had closed early. Damn! Then I noticed the Delray BBQ trailer in the parking lot. WTH?I was in a hurry and looking for something quick and they were here, and I was here. They had BBQ. I had money. Sure, why not …The menu yesterday was considerably limited to what is posted elsewhere:- pulled pork- pulled chicken- rib tips- selection of dessertsDo not worry, the full menu is available when they are their other venues. Check their website or Facebook.$12 is a rather high price point for chicken and pork sandwiches from a food trailer, but the clock was ticking and what the heck … I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich. The chicken was wonderful; cooked well done, but not over cooked, not dry and not sauced. The portion was very generous and cascaded far off the bun. The bun; I forgot to ask which bakery makes that wonderful bun.I will admit to being worried that only one sauce was available. It is a thin sauce that flows easily. A bit sweet and a hint of tang (acid). The order included a small scoop of Mac & Cheese. It is of the firm variety, my favorite. Not creamy, nor a gelatinous glob. If the put a bit of bacon in it, I would order it for a meal.I also order a small cup of the coleslaw. It is wet, not creamy - fine by me.The two guys working the food trailer are friendly and helpful. After finishing my lunch I inquired about wet-naps to clean my fingers and they provided. The limited menu was the only disappointment. I would have loved a combination plate of the usual suspects found at a BBQ joint. The limited menu was aimed at SW Detroit lunch bunch. The full menu is available at other venues - check Facebook, their webpage or call.
Ordered chicken,Mac n cheese, greens and corn bread muffins for my daughter's birthday party. Everyone there loved the food. Thanks Collin and Steve ?
Perfectly cooked. Perfect fall apart perfection
The ribs were amazing, fall off the bone good and the barbecue sauce it comes with is a little tangy, sweet but it gave it a little more flavor to the meat. The potato salad was a lil different from what I’m use to. This potato salad had a lil to much mustard or pickle juice taste, prolly not my fave but I wanted to try it out because as we know everyone makes potato salad different. The mac and cheese was da bomb as well as the banana pudding. Oh lets not forget the coleslaw it was ok not my fave but in all this food slaps. I highly recommend anyone to try it out if they want something different than ordinary restaurant/fast food.
Restaurantji Recommends
Tried their food based on the reviews and I was left somewhat disappointed. I tried a slab of ribs, brisket and pulled chicken. Had to throw away the chicken because it just didn't taste good. The ribs were so so and the brisket for $17 they gave me only three small pieces. Taste was okay but not something I would consider buying again. The pulled chicken on the other hand was probably three times as much meat compared to the brisket, but I couldn't eat it because I didn't like the taste. in conclusion I do not recommend this place and I won't be back there again. There are better choices out there from my point of view.
Their food is amazing! I highly recommend the brisket!!! Best I have ever had! The barbecue sauce that comes with it is soooo good. Tangy, sweet and delicious ❤
