Super easy to order drinks with plant based milks, they also have vegan bakery items like muffins. The vanilla flavor they use for drinks was not my favorite but not a deterrent. The staff were also extremely kind both visits.

For some reason The little girl decided to spit in my coffee. I didn't do anything to prompt this, I actually visit DO often when I'm working on art projects and on a normal day the baristas are usually friendly. However yesterday was one far from normal. I have no prior negative experience with this barista here. She told me her name was (Ashley) I'm not sure what she went thru that day or if in her heart is discreet prejudice, however once I noticed what she did, I calmly asked her to remake my drink, watched her while she did then let her know I was aware she spit in my drink. She began to speak nervously as if she were caught. She didn't deny or defend herself, she was surprised that I found out and I confronted her with poise letting her know I would share the pictures of what occured. Again, I'm not a regular there but I've been there often enough and have never caused problems for a barista to even want to do this to me. So I'm assuming prejudice. Use this information accordingly as well as be safe and alert in Downtown Detroit.

Nice ambience, friendly staff, and I like the little gaming card feature that allows them to bring items to where you are sitting. Cappuccino only available in 6oz size, so what if you are a Cappuccino monster / enthusiastic and would prefer a bigger one ? 🤔🤪

Pretty chill vibes here! I got their latest special The Feast. Which includes a pomegranate, cider, espresso (hot drink) and a sage, thyme, cranberry potato puff pastry. Both items complemented each other well and were delicious! Perfect pick me up and not too sweet.

Really enjoyed my oat cortado! Great place to work with plenty of seating and wall outlets. I like that they roast their own beans and has a well-sized menu for any palette.

This is my go to coffee shop when I'm walking around Detroit. They have a very fun engaging staff. They do a great job with all their coffee choices.

Their cheesecake selection is seasonal and very good (I'm a big fan of pumpkin cheesecake)

Occasionally, firing the week, they have open Mike night with a local musician and I've always enjoyed it.

It's a creative coffee shop with a definite Detroit vibe.

Parking: If this is your destination, you can usually grab a space on the street pretty close to the Oasis. If your early (before 7:30am) if there's no space, I've double parked, jumped out and grabbed coffee and jumped back in my car.

I need to mention there are several really good coffee shops on or near capital park including Canale and Avalon Bakery. Capital Park is a coffee destination.

A chill place to enjoy coffee or a snack with good company! Take a minute from your busy day and sit in the cafe. They do have substitutions for any dietary restrictions with the beverages.

The place is very comfortable to enjoy a good coffee and bread. I tried the cold latte and a muffin, the flavor of the coffee was very delicious, the service was very friendly.

I came in hoping to get some work done as I had been exploring some of the coffee shops in the detroit area. I saw the menu of desserts and planned to purchase one. Before I approached the register, I sat down and was there no longer than 5 minutes before I was approached by an employee who told me I was advertising other shops by bringing in an "outside drink". She told me I was to " either drink it outside or take it to the library ". This made me feel extremely unwelcome and I left immediately. I am certain that my drink wasn't bothering anyone and most definitely didn't warrant such a rude reaction. I hope it was worth it because you guys have lost a future customer.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Detroit. Great staff.. Especially Ben, who wins manager of the year with this 100% perfect oat milk cortado. ;)

Dessert Oasis has solid coffee and sweets. I just think it’s a little pricey — my tiny hot latte was over $5.00. It was really good though and it’s in a nice location. There is a cute park across the street and the shop itself is spacious and a good place to do work. My roommate loves getting their coffee to brew at home, so they have a large following in the area. It’s not my preferred shop, but I sometimes stop there when I am downtown craving a solid coffee.

A great spot if you’re in the mood for a good espresso, cake, or other treats. The service was prompt, and we easily found a place to sit. The interior is a bit dark, but it creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The café is located next to a charming park in the heart of Detroit, making it easily accessible for everyone.
