Shrimp was trash this is not the same ownership it couldn't be I called my order in just to have to wait cause they didn't start it till I got there 20 min later food quality was poor taste was horrible not the same as last year

Food is cooked very well, the shrimp are my favorite and the fish is fried with seasoning that is on point.Everyone is very friendly and respectful. Establishment is very clean. I will always get my fish and shrimp from Detroit Fish and Shrimp highly recommend that you do too!

This was my 2nd time going there, and the food was delicious. We ordered 2 fried catfish meals and a catfish nuggets meal. Perfectly fried and fresh. The only thing that made me give this 4 stars instead of 5 stars was the wait time. It was a long wait, and there were a lot of customers waiting for on a Friday night. I noticed there was only one lady in the kitchen, so I packed my patience and understood. Other than that, I plan to go again because the fish is fresh and delicious.

I love the shrimp here. The batter is awesome, and the quality is amazing imo. However, it is a bit pricey, and the price listed online is not the actual price that's listed at the store. I'm going yo buy it regardless because it's tasty, but it's something to consider .

I love this place. I go every time I'm in Detroit. They only sale breaded shrimp near me so their battered shrimp is a great change. Run don't walk to this place. It's well worth it.
Unfortunately, I got some swai passed off as catfish nuggets. Very disappointing. Use to be my go-to spot for seafood when O'Quinns closed.

I ordered a catfish dinner with frog legs everything was cooked perfectly. The cashier was helpful even though the young lady was the only one there she did a great job, letting customers know that she was only one there and it will be a few minutes longer. And yes I will be back again. The service in the food was great.Kid-friendliness: Even though the young lady that was working that day was the only one there, she really didn't do much complain she just let us know that it will be a little longer cuz it was only her, she did a great job communicating with her customers.

Absolutely best REAL Catfish and Shrimp In Detroit PERIOD!!! First time going and I thought it was a little pricey at first but when I say it was worth EVERY DIME!!! I mean every Dime. I am a loyal customer for life and they are Black owned! Clean Atmosphere and Young Lady at the counter was very friendly.
