The woman who owns it has been there for 15 years. The hot dogs were beautiful and prepared the best I have ever seen. This is far better than a coney Island. My daughter got the nicest veggie dog I've ever seen. Worth the stop right near eastern market.
Hot dog cart just outside of the eastern market. I really liked it it was perfect for my need (to eat before a Tigers game). I didn't think the dog itself was the best but all of the condiments (I got the chicago dog) were good. I think I'll try a red hot next time. The combo; dog, chips and a pop was $9.

I was on a mission for a the best Chicago dog in Detroit and Diamond absolutely delivered. You'll get a premium dog at an unbeatable price. The stand is seasonal though so make sure you pull through before the cold sets in!
