Any time I call, during business hours, I don’t get an answer. And when I drive to the location, during business hours, they aren’t open. So unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of taking out any dishes from here. This rating is based on service alone.

I wish they would sell Dish to someone that wants to keep it going. It’s never opened.

We ordered Christmas Dinner and it was delicious as always. The beef bourguignon was wonderful. Pick up was painless and with the reheating instructions on each pan dinner anyone can serve a 5 star meal without taking time away from family on Christmas day. Thank you again.

Put in a last minute request for a flourless cake for a birthday occasion and they were able to fulfill my request. The cake was outstanding and exactly what kind of cake was looking for. Will be my go to for any occasion from here on out.

I have a diverse group of friends and I enjoy exploring different cultural cuisines, from Thai to Czech. However, I also appreciate a good sandwich from time to time.

In my opinion, sandwiches are more complex than they seem at first glance. There's a difference between throwing some ingredients between bread and calling it a "sammich" and creating an outstanding product. A prime example is matching the type of bread to the filling of the sandwich. If the filling is soft, like egg salad, and the bread is hard, a lot of the filling will spill out when you take a bite. Not many people consider this, but it's the kind of detail that separates amateurs from professionals.

Dish is what I would call a "Culinary Gem" of Detroit. It may look unassuming from the outside, but the magic happens within. The interior is also modest, with just a counter and some drinks in a front fridge. The parking lot is small, so I'm not sure how it would work during busier times, but I found parking when I went. I initially didn't see a card machine, but they do accept cards – it's not cash only.

I ordered the "Vegetarian Mexican sandwich" and a drink called "Mash." The sandwich was a delightful balance of vegetables and good bread, creating excellent flavor and taste. It's clear that a lot of thought went into creating a sandwich where all the flavors complement each other. While I enjoyed the drink, I found out that it wasn't made in-house, so it's really unrelated to the restaurant.

The only downside I found is that the sandwich was so delicious that I struggled to finish it, and I was sad when it was all gone.

Overall, I love this place.

What a great carryout place. This was our 1st time ordering from here. We ordered the rueban sandwich, a pint of the chicken and orzo soup, the scallops and risotto, and the Spanish rice and black bean burrito. The sandwich was great, and for a carryout I was impressed it was not soggy, and was still crispy when I received it. The homemade dressing (1000 island) was delicious. I did not love the black bean and corn slaw that was on the side. It did not go together. The soup broth was very flavorful and seasoned perfectly. My coworker said the scallops were cooked perfectly, the risotto was okay it was slightly gummy but the flavor was amazing and she enjoyed it. The burrito was good as well and a great portion my co worker ate half for dinner Saturday and the ate the rest for dinner Sunday. We also ordered 2 of the raspberry lemon tarts and I'll tell you I would have eaten that over and over again! So, freah and delicious. When I called to place the order the woman who answered was very kind and was knowledgeable to answer all questions. We asked that the order be picked up at a specific time and it was ready and effortless to pick up. The space appeared clean, and organized. We will definitely order from here again. I love that the menu changes and we will have the opportunity to try new meals.

Wonderful take out option. Food is very fresh and love the rotating menu.So many good dishes such as ratatouille, risotto, marinara, pesto pasta, scallops.Only negative is when ordering you are given a pick up time and it’s rarely ready on time. When I arrive and still have to wait an additional 15-20 minutes seems like they didn’t start cooking it until then. Would order weekly if timing was more consistent.
