Used to really enjoy the ambiance of the Greektown location and its proximity to all the things nearby, all the restaurants, shops and casino, but it was closed in 2020 due to Covid. I now use their E Jefferson location in Rivertown, which is much smaller and more for carryout. Same quality pizzas though. As to the pizzas, while you can get thin crust and round, the real star is their phenomenal deep dish Chicago style to die for! I think it's so good, it outdoes any Chicago...
I came in for sit down at the John r location today. Very excited to actually sit down in a restaurant. I had Pedro today, I'm not sure his title because he did it all! He greeted me, took my order, sat me, brought my food and checked on me. He worked the register too. Give this man a raise! He does it all and with a smile. Very nice guy and turned on the TV for me too. Thanks Pedro!
I Retired from the DFD and moved up north. What I miss most other than the Tigers & Wings Games But Pizza Papalis O-Man there seafood Pizza is the best I'm drooling on my key board just writing about it. I'm almost 500 miles away now I wonder if they deliver in my area. Anyway all B.S. aside Try the seafood pie thin crust if you don't love it you can bring the rest to me. Thanks Ken
