My perch better was not cooked all the way and it was greasy and my shrimp was greasy My okra was burned I just was not satisfied with my order
As a child my mother got Chicken & Shrimp every weekend from here. They were always hit or miss with being open. It's the same thing today. They put signs on the door to let you know when they will be available again, several times a day. And the phone is always off the hook, you can never get through. This is why people don't support black businesses the way we should. Hire some people and be consistent with business hours and service. Oh and CASH ONLY but NO $50 bills

They are supposed to open at 1:00pm but we're late opening up. I left and came back and they were open before 1:30. It was worth the wait and I'm glad that I came back. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is clean, and the food was good and clean cooked in fresh grease. And most important it is a family owned and ran Black business. I love it!

Each time I come in I have to wait until the regulars receive their food first . I can walk in before everyone and will still not be called until everyone has their food . Also the food hasn’t been good since Mrs. Shirley and her husband left. Unfortunately I will not be returning this has happened 3 times. I am so disappointed expected so much more this place was once a staple .
