So glad I found an arepas place here in detroit. Food was great, location and atmosphere was unassuming. The arepas and the pastelitos were delicious. That shredded beef is tasty and I really liked rhe cheese they used on both dishes. I found it a tad pricey, but will be back to try the plates and the fresh juices.

I ordered takeout and what a bad food the patacon looked like a board, I couldn't eat it, what a shame they lost the touch and flavor without Chance...

Place has been redesigned since the last time I was there. Food was exceptionally delicious. I really enjoyed their green juice. Service was horrible. As the only non-hispanic in the restaurant, I was the last one to receive service.

Worst Venezuelan restaurant I have ever visited. Dirty place. Horrible greasy food (bad and super expensive). They charged us for tap water. Also a fee for using a credit card. They charged us $2 extra for milk in juice (a charge that was not disclosed on the menu) We were charged $80 for one arepa, 2 cheese cachapas and three guanabana juices. Unable to recommend. Go somewhere else.

Anyone can make a mistake because of the external appearance of the place and the sector...I recommend it 100% pure Caribbean flavor ?
